Not all lip injectors are the same, some sting more than others. and your hand being swollen, thats because you aren't really supposed to put the lip-gloss anywhere besides your lips, If it makes your lips bigger then its going to make any other part of your skin swell too. thats what it does. just be more careful with these things... test them before you buy them if possible...

you have to have nude lips (as in nothing on them) i had the same one and put it over lipstick...it was really unpleasant, but if you wipe it off and wait awhile and then put it back on...you should be fine then!

you really should get tested for allergies, because that really looks like and allergic reaction. maybe from some quimic in the lip gloss. go to the doctor and bring the lip gloss for tests. then if you really are allergic to something specific, you ll start looking at the ingredients before buying them.

I agree with some other comments, you must be allergic to it... I have a Lip Injection and even thought it DOES give a little bit of a "burning" feeling, it didn't really hurt me... On the other hand, I had the same reaction with the Lip Venom by DuWop.

A lot of people are always shocked to find out the parts of animals that are used in their makeup... technically, in a few lip plumpers, they use a form of snake venom because it causes swelling. It's a minimal amount so it doesn't harm us... but that's probably what caused that reaction :(

Ugh lip injection is agonizing! On the subject of lip plumpers: Avoid them if they contain cinnamon oil...cinnamon oil, as I learnt doing an experiment in biology, can burn through plastic. I would not want to put them on my most delicate skin ie the lips
