Obviously he doesn't personally. His campaign does. That's just the game, no big deal. You think McCain doesn't moderate his comments? McCain approved the Bush-Patriot-Act- "Free Speech zones" at protests and Presidential appearances! "Free speech zones"?! What a bunch of Facist shlock!
"You know, I am a believer in knowing what you are doing when you apply for a job, and I think that if I were to seriously consider running on a national ticket I would essentially have to start now, before having served a day in the Senate. we need to step one and only one step away from oil capitolism obama will do this mcain probably wont he is smart and thinks of all of the consequences before he locks in his decision unfortunatly his friends and the fact that he has such a tolerance level for who he associates with that he is in potential trouble i am bouncing between him and mcaine because i thing he might take two steps back from capitolism
hey firecrawler, i agree; although about "hopefully he will make our country more respected..." I think that the people of the Middle East hate us because we occupy and bomb their holy lands, until we get out of Iraq and Afghanistan and stop taking sides in a holy war (by supporting both sides, mind you) they will continue to do so, no matter what our leader's image is. and yes he's a much better choice than Clinton II
Don't be silly. Obama's not a god or a deity and no one's seriously claiming that he is. He'll just make a darn great president and hopefully make our country more respected and unified, with the help of us all, of course.
I don't know about Cancer but with all the school and collage advancements he'll put in to play when he's president. He'll definitely be able to help with stupidity. So there's hope for you kid.
Obama's running because he's more qualified than Clinton, not because he's black. Oh wait, he's half-black and half-white. I guess facts don't matter anymore in modern-day politics.
One thing: This guy will never be a president of the United States. Although I wish it would be Hillary Clinton, McCain will win the presidential race.
Go Barack!!! I think we can be a nation of joy, positive energy and quality leadership. It is time America for white, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Russian, and all other groups to come together as a nation. Hate is a dead concept if we embrace the peaceful change of what Barack represents. We can have a society that is Of, By and For the people!!!
Even though I wish Mr.Obama would challenge the right wing agenda in the U.S more than he currently is I got to give to him hes a hell of a good speaker
Of course Obama won't be where he is today if he WERE white. Obama's qualification is above average, but I don't see him as top-notched. And, he is NOT YET et presidential material given his lack of experience. But some people foolishly think that his being BLACK will make up for everything. Naive! America's too caught up with the whole "black president" thing. Too bad.
He has a point. "Senator Obama is not fit to be President"- Hillary Clinton. Whys that Hillary..."BECAUSE I WANNA BE PRESIDENT!!!". She has contradicted herself by such a large margin.
wake up people, you act like he is going to be your personal savior. He preaches about great change with absolutely no substance on how he is going to actually deliver what he promises!!!!!
You've got to be joking, if you think you're not in the place you are because you're black. Quick question there Barack, when's the last time anyone running in a primary for president got 90% of any one race ?
That wasn't Dr. King's dream, we haven't as a society reched a point where we Judge eachother by the content of our character, there's still a lot of racial issues poisoning our everyday lives, if Obama wins it would be a HUGE step, nontheless the realization of King's Dream is still something that every single human beeing that struggles with this atrocious reality has to fight to overcome, King was calling not just for legal reform, but for evolution in human consciousness
What Barack and some of you don't realize is that even though he won more states than Clinton, She has won the more important states like NY and CA. The states he won don't carry much weight in the General Election. If the Florida primary was counted (notice the fairness of not Including Michigan) she would be even closer to his # of delegates.
And that's exactly the problem with the Clinton camp logic. You're claiming that she has won the "important" states like NY and California? Are you actually listening to what you're saying? There's no such thing as "more important" states. Every state, every vote counts, and you guys keep forgetting that, and then you wonder why you keep losing.
FACT: Obama has won more states, more votes, and more delegates than Clinton. And that's because he counts EACH and EVERY state as important.
Please, that argument is so ridiculous. He will win California and New York. Plus, he'll put way more red states in play than Clinton will. The Republican Governor of Kansas even supports him.
Obama is leading the delegate count. He probably will finish ahead in the delegate count when all the primary contests are done. Why the hell would he want to be Vice President to someone can beat? Reminds me of that old Chris Rock joke about Colin Powell and Bob Dole back in the 90s.
Good for you, Barack, and congrats on Mississippi! I don't think Hillary has ever used the phrase "with all due respect." This is a classy way to make a point smartly, intelligently, and clearly.
Let's do it in Pennsylvania and show some brotherly love!
That's cause Clinton's attempt to publicly characterize him as a VP has a subliminal intent. How you define him, that's how people begin to relate to him. A dirty, dirty move!
Hoodwinked. Thats an old American expression, quite funny to hear it in these times. Makes you wonder if Obama has an insight into history and its workings.

Is Obama only supposed to stay silent forever while the Hillary camp keeps firing off ridiculous claims, otherwise Hillary and her supporters will cry foul and play the victim and gender card AGAIN? Nothing cocky about stating the obvious, like the fact that Obama IS the first placer. Being the 2nd placer and offering the 1st placer to be the VP, now THAT'S cocky and laughable.
what u say is certainly true and i am myself behind obama in this race but i have noticed a slight overconfidence that almost borders brashness in his approach over the last few weeks. its not even a spec on the disgraceful tactics clinton has employed but its enough to cause me some concern as to how he is perceived by the less politically aware voters. i think its a case of his genuineness behind policy making his speeches inevitably more lucid and seeminly to some slightly cocky..oh the irony
You see nothing wrong with Hillary talking about making Obama her vice president suggesting she's the frontrunner, when it is Obama who's in first place? How can you think he's being "pretty cocky" for not letting that stand unchallenged? People are gullible and will just eat it up if he said nothing.

lol..your just mad cos ur supporting a loser. get on the winning side and bring about change. your clinton has used all sorts of things to try to bring obama down and still she has failed because obama has no skeletons to hide!! AND THATS A FACT
Obama recent speech got me chuckling, and you know he made some great points. I do wonder who Obama may be considering as his running mate when he wins the Democratic nomination.
Please don't split hairs with the petty Clintons. The best thing to do is rise above--they want to bloody you--but you've got firmer ground under your feet. Don't go toe-to-toe with her, there's no point. Plain & simple she was/is part of the problem and you are not. Please start talking about blowback, the issue cannot be ignored. And talk about Rwanda, it was a case where Clinton ignored his own doctrine used in Kosovo. Poor & inconsistent judgement is no substitute for inexperience.
Get Back to Your positive Message & forget about comparing how much you've won. Focus on the needs of the American People the way they see them. What are their needs? What are they really? Focus on how your presence in Washington can benefit the American People.
Senator Clinton's message on YouTube right now is powerful. Your campaign also is strong. Focus on the positive 1st then deal with the negatives as they arise, but always focus on the positive.

I cannot stand anyone that says Obama is "arrogant" for not accepting Hillary's offer. She's pretty arrogant for proposing.
