  • very nice playing, sound, everything; and looks like joao bosco! (man, this cat can't lose!)

  • beautiful! i take my hat off to you for yr tone and agility of playing. i d like to get into this style and have a es335 copy by vantage-would you suggest i change to flatwound strings? thx again

  • Nice work here; I agree, Jobim was brilliant. 'Wave' is definitely a desert island classic ... sorta makes me feel all sunny inside everytime I hear it ... a perrenial fave. Bossa is the stuff, and it's good to see the tradition living on in players like yourself.

  • I do all of the background music myself. It is somewhat time consuming, but worth it.

  • Can you tell me where you got the backing track?

  • Fantastic job you'v edone. I'm an amateur, but I WANT to learn this ! Can you give me the chord progresion please ???

  • Wow, very nice indeed!

  • great guitar playing! so clean, and i love that jazz "club" style sound. how do you feel about the mxl .007 usb mic? is it worth the money? if not do you have any suggestions?

  • @TheLoneLongboarder

Thanks. I do like the mxl .007 because of its plug and play simplicity. I think it is worth the money. I also have the Blue Yeti USB mic which has multiple capsules including stereo, and other configurations, which I like. Either mic can do the job.

  • Beautiful! I know that's a pricey (and gorgeous) guitar, but I have a Roland Cube too, and I'm amazed at the great tones coming out of these affordable little amps.

  • @mightybisons

Appreciate the compliment. I use my Cube 30 for small gigs as well as rehearsal. I even gig using it with my nylon string guitar when playing Latin and bossa nova jazz. Also, it's nice on the back muscles, too.

  • Wow awesome tone!! Is that a 57 in the neck?

  • @jimgabelbauer

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Everything on the guitar is stock. For about a week I put in a Seymour Duncan jazz pick up in the neck, but didn't like it as much as the stock pick up. I love my Seymour Duncan jazz in my Steinberger, though.

  • Thanks for the kind remark!

  • very nice smooth sound and playing
