it would be nice if the BBC did this technec fot even just one old epsode. Mayby the first dalek episode or even the first episode ever. I understand it would take a REALLY long time but it would be nice for the 50th anivercary to spend months on one loved episode. I would love them if they did.
@Alonsireviews - They want to show the episodes as close to how they were when originally made. Not to tart them up. Seems more truer to history to restore them to the closest approximation when possible... but having an extra with colorization (done by professionals that can see and fathom the differences!) might be intriguing...
you should colrise a whole episode and put it on DVD! it would be cool if one day the BBC put an episode from he lost intime box set and colored it and put on as a DVD extra!
AMAZING video as I am trying some colourizations on GIMP now and I have no idea how you did this so well, mine looks more like a painting than a coloured picture. =/
That Black Supreme Dalek looks so realistic in colour , i mean i knows it's actual Black and White footage , but what i mean is it looks like a 1970's Doctor Who Story and not a 60's one .
Still , gives you some idea of just how cool Doctor Who would have been in colour back in the 60's , it could have been in colour right from the start with An Unearthly Child really , but there where reasons for why it was black and white when it started back then , cost is one reason .
What's that song? It was in a newer ep where they are all flying the Tardis, towing earth back..

Brilliant colourisations! Well done, but in the description it says hand coloured? :)
