We used only 6 300w/hr panels to produce 17,500 w/day. The thing which helped us a lot is we used a homemade two-axis solar tracker. It works neat! The light bill is as low as 3.00 US per every two months.
hi brother thank u so much for this video , i would like to ask u , how i can study and take course or diploma in green energy and specially in solar energy , do u know any institute or any place can give this kind of course ???
Yes with the Federal Gov you can save about 30% Plus many states give you a break also just depeneds which state and how much and it depends on Cost depending on how much Electricity you currently use and how much precent you wanna save on your bill
The average household in America consumes 9000 kwh/ year. So a 4kw system would suffice. Which can vary in amount of panels/batteries depending on your price range.
@tweety30number11 Depends on type/size of roof/house plus you have to take in consideration of shading,ie abutments that might be in the way of the modules (ie chimneys, pipes sticking through the roof etc),on an average sized semi detached house in the U.K its about 8 - 10 modules
What happens when you must replace the shingles on the roof? Must the entire system be removed and reinstalled? I can't imagine that would be a cheap roof repair.....?
@FreshKillsJustice im afraid the whole modules would have to be taken off, thats why we always recommend to anyone who wants modules on there roof,if the roof needs totally redoing in the next few years because it on its last legs, get the roof redone first then have the modules installed, ideally at the same time, cheaper in the long term because you dont have to pay out for scaffolding again.
Remember, Just as long as the battery doesn't overcharge and doesn't discharge too deeply too often then you will have good, long life for your batteries. It could depend on the age of your batteries, or maybe your brand of charge controller.
Lobby to have solar included on all new homes and buildings as part of their designs. Then the people can still have the dormers, skylights, etc., ,etc. especially in dreary weather sections of the USA. Americans are getting ripped off by the fossil fuel cartels, look at Germany and China, they get it. Americans suffer from Stockholm syndrome when it comes to powering our nation. Thanks!

@JO3haNsum solar panels stores very much energy example few you charge your solar panels just 9 hours it will work up to 30-35 hours. depending on you if you only house one TV , one air conditioner and home lights the power will work up to 65 hours. i also have solar panels.
Go to google and search "appliance consumption energy calculator", this will give you a good total estimate. If you want to be more exact, you can buy a product called "kill-a-watt" at any electronics store, it shows the total energy consumption of any appliance you want to find. If you are searching for a price, PV systems usually run $5-6 a watt.
@JO3haNsum That's why the solar panels charge batteries. So that you can use the power from the batteries while there is no sun. The next day the panels re-charge the batteries.

It is not permanent and can be easily taken off as it is put on.

That's not a Solar Panel. That's an oversize square Solar Strip on your Solar Calculator.
