  • It's the FUTURE!

  • I'm sorry but I don't get this, why would you want to do that?

I can see why these didn't take off!

  • Wow! That really does sound like an organ. Anyone know what circuits were employed in this thing?

  • @guitarjur Because Gilmour wouldnt have known what to do with it with Richard Wright in the band

  • Where the hell can I buy one of those???

  • Dick Denny on TV!! The man that invented the AC30, arguably the most MUSICAL sounding guitar amp ever made.

  • I would like to know what name brand organ and model that is?

  • I wanted this VOX Guitar when I was a Kid,ARE there any out there ??

  • @dukeuke1 Sadly they are super rare and even if you find one I don't think it's worth giving thousands for it.

I think it's expensive and hard enough to find a 12-stringed Vox Teardrop. I'd say this is more of a collecting item.

    Sadly!

  • GOnna have some trouble finding a left handed one

  • @Awesomo4003 You'd have trouble finding a right handed one!

  • Grandfather of Chapman Stick ?

  • Great clip. I had one of these, they did crackle a lot! K

  • They never could get the intonation right on those.

  • I would like one of those, though if they have a more up to date version that could go with an amp, unless not compatible at all.

  • GWAR!..... \m/

  • dude shredded.

  • I actually remember watching this show! Cheers!

  • Damn! That was dick denny at the end. Dude invented the AC30! Could play a bit too!

  • Back in the day my guitar teacher played a beat up teardrop.. He's the lead of the band the renfields.. He hooked me up with the "Hendrix chord" the blues scale and ziggy stardust.. Forever in debt for that..

  • Steve Allen rules the Universe

  • Brilliant!!!

  • vox shuldent have stop making that guitar

  • @Erikthegitarguy Except it was never popular 'cause it was so flaky.

  • Is this a cross pollination of Eddie Van Halen, Jon Lord and JS Bach

  • so u dont have to strum it? looks very difficult, but pretty radical, way ahead of its time.

  • WHEW! How awesome is that. I want one.

  • vintage shred

  • Im a huge fan of Vox guitars. The Organ is a great collectors guitar. I would pay $800 for that guiar.

  • better be 800$ back in the 50s :P

  • @LAMF1968 you would probably have to pay a lot more.

  • @bandetlaban ar matey

  • I have one for sale, very rare instrument. UK based. Anyone interested?

  • @lloydlawrence

    yeah, how much???

  • Very much yes.. Please Pm me as soon as possible.

  • Hi.

i´m interested. send me PM or mail:

    golafs (at) gmail (dot) com

    thanks

  • how much?

  • Vox should bring back the guitars they made in the 60's. Ultrasonic, Teardrop, Phantom, etc. People are killing each other trying to get their hands on those guitars...it would be smart to start making them again. Innovative, yet classic!

  • Very impressive, very beautiful fot that years

  • hahah, that guy is pretty much doing two-handed tapping years before all of that shredding started!

  • Two handed work, speedy classical themes, he was the package before there was a package!

  • Yamaha made one too.

  • Juusto aaa tiempoooo.... (8)

  • That is such a neat & cool sounding instrument. Would love to play one...

  • WOW, Ive been wanting to hear one of these go off for so long! Damn!

    Kewl!

  • i want one

  • I have one but I am needing a power supply box.

And do they weigh a ton! Wouldn't want to play a whole concert with one.

They actually came out before 1967, in the U.K.

  • About 19 of these instruments were imported to Australia by Nicholsons music store, in the late 1960's. So, not too many around.

  • 1967? amazing.

  • I want one!!

  • $4000.00 for a Organ is not a recession type price !!! If anyone has an Organ dont try to price so high. I remember some on try to sell one for 7k-10,000.00

  • There is no such thing as a "Recession type price" in any free market---items will sell for what people are willing to pay. Yes, they may be lower in a recession, but some items are higher right now than a year ago.

The demand for these far surpasses the supply---if somebody will pay $4K, then it's worth $4K.....

  • right, but I havent seen one sell for that price on Ebay, yet. Not that I know of.

  • How come pink floyd never got their hands on this!???

  • Hehe, nice one bestfina.

  • Nice instrument. For anyone interested I have one like this in perfect shape for sale. Please send me a message for more info.

  • how much

  • How much do you want for it

  • You don't have spare power unit box for sale? I have one too, mine is from 1966.

  • Sorry yeahproductions...I've just got the one with the guitar. Hope you can find one ! Ps. the guitar is still for sale, pleas pm for info or offer.

    Regards,

  • You know what guys, I have one like that me self . :D Rly I do =)

  • can you demo it please?with a massive cherry on top

  • どっちが本物のオルガンか当てるわけね。。
