believe it or not, football teaches kids how to reap rewards from hard work. it teaches them teamwork. it teaches them respect for authority figures - much more than any computer or science camp could. by teaching them self discipline through football, they can transfer that same mentality to their academics (notice the man telling the kids to first and foremost, finish school.) how can you criticize a pro athlete for giving back and helping kids in ANY shape or form in this day and age?
