@TheAnimefreak349 i'd say read the manga first, at least up to volume six. then watch the 1st anime series (which is technically just called season 1) it's the one w/ the not-so-impressing art. then you can go ahead and continue and go onto the 2nd season. the 2nd season is a completely different story but same backgrounds. the 2nd manga series (Negima Neo) is just the manga version of that. then there's the OVA. the spring and summer specails are based on volume 7 of the original manga series

In reading reviews for the movie, I am sorry to say that Akamatsu had little input for it apparently. While the fight scenes are apparently first class, the storyline is subpar.

@Arturoxtei Unfortunately neither of the animes made for Negima went that far into the manga-storyline and left a lot to be desired. The 1st went to just after the Kyoto trip then it screwed around with the story, the 2nd had the same characters and a completely different storyline, the last used elements of the manga but still had a much different story. The OVAs followed the manga quite well but stopped before things got really interesting or started right after things calmed down again.
@FailureLi i was being rather positive in all honestly... and even then its just another alternate ending... oh and akamatsu has said that this marks then end of all the negima anime wise... so we're never going to see the entire manga made into an anime... *sniff* damnit... im crying again...
