you can do the same thing for free. just download Quicktime player. and download Realplayer. download a video with the Realplayer download bar, convert it into a file that Quicktime can read by using the Realplayer converter, and viola! just change the speed of the video through Quicktime.
@lovescarguitar That is great if you can get to work, and you want to wait for the download to complete, then adapt the file, then find the new file in the right format, then get Quicktime to run without crashing...
Ok - I am a bit scarred by Realplayer -and it is a great option if the $30 is a bit tight. Me - I just click on the video I want to watch and it runs at 3x. If that is too squeeky [and it depends on the person talking in the video] - I just slow it down. No stuffing around at all
@bestsuperlearning i forget the file name, but if i go on there and want to convert, i know which one im looking for. and yeah. realplayer is iffy. but i just use it for the downloader and the converter. i use my other media programs to play the vids.
@lovescarguitar Hi Kenneth - Yep. I like the way Realplayer just offers the download button when you roll the cursor over. I still use it to download things that I want to keep - like music. This new software is best for when I just want to see the info without downloading it. The videos just immediately play at about 2x straight off Youtube or googlevideo. If I am eg reviewing speed reading videos online - I can zoom through them to see if they are worth recommending or not.
