I think you ought to do something about the sound quality though. There's a "fizzing" sound throughout and it makes things hard to interpret in some spots.
Sorry about that. I did actually take some time to get a sound (such as it is), but I had a fan on in the background on full! Unlike Steve Vai fans, this one was purely on to help me with the summer heat! Besides I do not have enough hair to get it blown around while I play! Next time, fan will be off!
all fun aside, you are a pro! Just impeccable, without even trying, I know, that's the shtick, but you really are just flicking it off like it's nothing. Plainly, you've done your homework and taken it to a whole other level. You keep jammin'!!!!
What a weird art guy manic depressive world we've chosen to work in. You're bored, the audience is bored, we're all just too cool to let everyone know we're enjoying the music.
It is strange really, when I was a kid I thought, man if I could do that, I'd be so happy, and just smile. Then you get into playing and find that the amount of fun you are having must be hidden by inversely sour expressions and joyless music. Weird. Music is actually meant to be fun. Why is it all sooo serious? Gosh, some stuff is just awful. But it is as Mark Twain said of Wagner, 'His music is better than it sounds'. I think Twain hit it right on the head there.
Sorry, you are right. I am going blind! It is a 3.0mm Stubby. They were actually the pick that got me interested in trying more picking styles again (about 10 years ago). It is just so compact and hard to drop. Basically only one way to hold it and has a strong connection with the strings.
Haha,I've seen those expressions often in many guitar players. The Boss loop is great!A friend of mine lent me one once.I swear I ended up jamming for hours over the same riff.Nice playing man :)
Sorry all for the buzz/hiss in this video, no, you are not hearing things, nor are you going mad. After carefully trying to set the sound up better in the past, I forgot to turn the fan off! Doh!
Brilliant! (the humor and playing)

I am looking forward to see what else you have next year.
Great playing as usual.
What picks do you use?
trevskiw2008 2 years ago
Hiya,
They are Jim Dunlop Stubbies 8.0mm. Canot do without them now, totally reliant!
fransciscoau 2 years ago
8.0mm surely you mean 2.00mm.
i have heard of picks being more than 10mm but not often i thought they only went to 3.00mm with the stubbies?
