I recently purchased this game and got stuck on this challenge. I looked to this video for help, not recalling ever having those starting locations, and then started the challenge again. The game, perhaps for the first time, loaded the map with the cases in these spots! I got the first case easily, and I killed a Sim during each of the other two captures (one was a Sim in the base and the other was out while I was in, both were shot over the stairs and were armed.)
The easiest way to win this challenge is to start it over and over until you get these starting locations for the breifcases. Dark sims are really good but they're flawed in the fact that they go for the best (most powerful) weapons and shields before actually coming at you when they have the opportunity. Also, as displayed in this video, they'll walk right into a line of fire around a corner. I've seen your other videos though and you are legit

Darksims become exponentially more powerful if you give them better combat options. Shields in any of the last 3 challenges would have made them impossible.
Personally, my favorite settings are combats with lots of hardsims and pistols... generally Falcons, Magsecs, Magnums, Sniper (it's the same shooting ratio), Shotgun and the only submachine CMP150, so that they can't get all excited running for the K7 or the SuperD.
I just love the Falcon 2. It's basic, but it's somewhat edgy. And when it becomes double, there's nothing more to say...
But that's a matter of tastes, I play with submachine guns if I play with a friend or with lower lvl sims, otherwise it gets all boring, everyone goes for the K7, SDragon, AR34, Callisto...
And when you play with only one slot as a submachine and you dont know where it is...
@Laurelindo It's the best gun out there! And to think that when I was younger I wouldn;t drop the Phoenix in Explosive Shells mode. XD Cost me a hellotta Selfdestructs actually, more than you'd imagine from such tiny blasts. But I think that that's the catch with the Phoenix. If you try to walk over your own blasts, you'll end up killing yourself little by little.
@nikovan I think PerfectSims are just as scary, actually.
I once had 4 PerfectSims fight against 4 DarkSims while I used Invincible and an infinite Cloaking Device myself to stay away from everything, and both teams were always tied.
@Laurelindo PerfectSims are not in the same league, believe me. They might be tied because of AI vs AI, but it's a little known fact that while Perfects know where all the weapons are and will always go for the top ranked, Darksims begin fully loaded. Also, Perfects don't have the same headshot ratio. A friend and I were proving this over and over a few years ago. Darks are actually, the most superb AI I;ve ever faced in a videogame. I've never seen something like 'em.
I must confess i won this one by evading my enemies lolz and it took me like 5 tries XD it was my hardest challenge and when i won i let out a sigh of relief. for i had completed all 30 challenges.
these bases were the ideal setup. yours in the ar34 hill and there's just on the left. you can win this quick because the dark sims are programmed to go and find the ar34; leaving you a free pass in and out their base when it is this close.
This is how I won. One good tactic he used, which I also use is to keep your eye on the radar and start shooting before they come into contact, that way you are already laying ammunition into them before they can even pull the trigger.
I think that is basically the only way to beat the challenge. By far this is the hardest one in my view point, even with a bunch of friends playing. Challenge 29 and 30 are far easier.
The simulants think that the shotgun is the best gun, when actually the AR34 is the best gun. That DOES make a difference, when they miss (like at 00:52). Also, having that closeness between the two case locations is the only way to do this! Have you tried doing this challenge when one case location is out on that open field on that platform, which requires a descending jump, to get to (seen at 00:17)? haha... impossible.

@nikovan I also like the Falcon 2 (the normal one with no extra tools), it feels so clean and basic.
Having that as the main pistol on Challenge 1 feels so right.

@nikovan I've heard that DarkSims are able to randomly warp to a completely different place on the map, is that really true?
I think I've seen them disappear and instantly show up again on the radar, but maybe they just died very quickly or something? Hm...

If you have the base with the AR34...this match is pretty much over. If you don't get it, just keep restarting until you do =)

Yeah I did that challenge with surprising ease also because of the positioning. I found challenge 26 the most infuriating.
