Oh man, there is no one who can come close to him. Back then, some of the fans even got to sit on the stage; they also did that for the Elvis 68 special. That did not mean they did not love the entertainers but they didn't have to scream constantly and drown out what they were singing and jump up there and grab them.

Michael Jackson performing is always great, breath-taking, but there is something else here. Great music, man! Soulful, beautiful, swinging. Everything falls into it's place, if you sensitize yourself, you will realize this singer is really listening to the musicians, letting them shine, shining with the beat and not overdoing anything. Just amazing basslines that dialogue with him in between the spaces. Stuff of refined people, very intelligent... and very rhythmic. Great taste!
