@CajunPainter81 - I think it's obvious that LiberalViewer's main goal is to be persuasive, not purely informative. By definition, anyone trying to be persuasive has a bias. In more than 100 video he's shown that Fox News is biased when it tries to inform, and uses bad information and faulty logic when it tries to persuade. The fact that LiberalViewer doesn't spend an equal amount of time researching the other side of the argument does not make him a hypocrite.
All news is bias be it TV, in print, on the web. People watch what they like or can relate to. I didn't realize how many people knew what network they were watching. I know the channel # and the time my show is on. I don't get why you care about what Fox is saying, if you don't like it change the channel, it is that simple people. You should spend your time making videos of your daughter growing up or about your favorite charity and not about the news being Bias. We already know that!

I would actually say, that fox news has A LOT of ideological bias. And a huge amount of political bias. But I have, not documented but I have thought about doing so, seen a large amount of political bias from MSNBC. As an atheist, and an anti-statist, I am almost always disgusted with Fox and Msnbc for the out right lies they put out about, both atheists, and anti-statists. Now I may hate the political system, but i still can stand when fox or msnbc lie about one side or the other.

I do think that we need progressives need to be honest about the fact that MSNBC with Maddow and Olbermann et al serve as a voice for our side. But, the key difference is, they say so upfront and present themselves as political commentators. They are asking for an ideological exchange. I don't see as many blatant biases on the other stations but there are the occasional subtle injections of bias. These news stations do have to sell whatever their corporate masters tell them to.
Most channels tend to flip-flop on their political loyalties while maintaining steadfast their owner's own doctrine.

Every time you see news reporters doing more than just reporting the news, whether accurate or not, there is bias. There was a time when only news anchormen were allowed to do that. It's the TV version of a newspaper editorial. Now everyone has a bunch of talking heads taking up far more than the usual 30 minutes it takes to report most of a day's news.

Why do republicans pull this card all the time? O'Reilly does this constantly, the idea of "well, we're number one!". Popular does not mean right, or true. If this were the case if someone were to inquire about something that is true, we'd simply look at what was the most popular idea, doctrine or theory. Number 1, I am not a republican, but a democrat. I use to watch ABC news and CNN. I would hear their reports concerning Obama and they were way off base. I like my news with proof and Fox shows you both sides and the truth. That is the reason I watch mostly Fox news now. I was a believer in Obama, until everything he promised and said he either did not do or he did the opposite. I am not the kind of person to go with the crowd, in fact, quite the different, but I know when I am being lied to.

In more than 100 video he's shown that Fox News is biased when it tries to inform, and uses bad information and faulty logic when it tries to persuade. I would actually say, that fox news has A LOT of ideological bias. And a huge amount of political bias. But I have, not documented but I have thought about doing so, seen a large amount of political bias from MSNBC. As an atheist, and an anti-statist, I am almost always disgusted with Fox and Msnbc for the out right lies they put out about, both atheists, and anti-statists. Now I may hate the political system, but i still can stand when fox or msnbc lie about one side or the other.

I do think that we need progressives need to be honest about the fact that MSNBC with Maddow and Olbermann et al serve as a voice for our side. But, the key difference is, they say so upfront and present themselves as political commentators. They are asking for an ideological exchange. Well, CNN did fact check an SNL skit making fun of Obama, but Jon Stewart called them out on it right away.
I don't see as many blatant biases on the other stations but there are the occasional subtle injections of bias. These news stations do have to sell whatever their corporate masters tell them to.
Most channels tend to flip-flop on their political loyalties while maintaining steadfast their owner's own doctrine.
Fox is no different in it, but their owners have only 1 loyalty.

Every time you see news reporters doing more than just reporting the news, whether accurate or not, there is bias. There was a time when only news anchormen were allowed to do that. It's the TV version of a newspaper editorial. Now everyone has a bunch of talking heads taking up far more than the usual 30 minutes it takes to report most of a day's news.

a common argument is with msnbc and olbermann and maddow and schultz for instance. the difference is 1) they don't PRETEND to be "fair and balanced", or unbiased. 2) msnbc backs all their news with investigative reporting and facts. 3) fox promotes political rallies, they've been caught whipping up crowds and lying about attendance. how is that news? they report their own news event! they're disingenuous with a stories source and have blundered the facts so often it's become a joke.

All Presidents have scandals. The shredding of the Constitution actually began in the beginning ot the 20th Century before Bush's father was even born. I don't even watch Fox or MSNBC. I watch CNN and HLN because I tend to believe that they are the most neutral News channels since Ted Turner was driven out of Turner Broadcasting.

A huge problem is the fact that 24 hour a day news is DULL. Deathly dull. That is why FOx is so successful. Because FOX provides news for fans of pro wrestling. Hell they are even manufacturing the news in such a way as to make WR Hearst blush, like the teaparty rallies, promoted and organised by FOX. And it is IMPOSSIBLE to do any real journalism, as the sponsors do not like scandals, and a big enough corporation can threaten to withdraw their advertising in a shot.

I agree. I think all the media outlets are controlled by the Govenrment anyway. Glen Beck lost sponsors for calling Obama a racist. Unlike most Republicans who believe that Obama is intentionally out to destroy America, I have a hard time believing that. I believe his intentions are genuine and it doesn't matter what the President does, the opposing parties will disagree with it anyway. You can't please all the people all the time.

@jeremyoyer Yes Bush had higher approval ratings at the end of his 1st year than Obama, but only because of 9/11 when the democrats rallied behind him in a time of need and war. Once Bush lied to the American people and invaded the wrong country, he lost Democrats and his ratings fell like a rock.
Also, may I remind you that Obama's approval ratings right now are higher than Bush's approval ratings than AT ANY TIME DURING BUSH'S ENTIRE 2ND TERM.

Weapons can be refilled. Uday Hussein ordered rounds for a Weapon's System and come to find out they were the wrong rounds. He sold them to Al qaeda which used them to create Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) If you were a drug dealer and a cop called you saying he would be at your house in a month to search it, would you have the drugs in your house? Of course not. That's exactly what happened in Iraq.

I would however agree that the war has been drawn out too much and Obama has done little to nothing to expidite the pullout process. Instead he's worried about purchasing votes behind closed doors for the HC bill that has absolutely nothing to do with what he promises originally.

The only reason Bush's was higher the 1st year is because Dems like us supported him after 9/11, asshole. Bush's ratings were similar to Obama's pre-9/11. And Obama's presidential approval ratings (between 47 and 52% this past week, per Gallup)are STILL higher than Bush 's were AT ANY TIME DURING HIS ENTIRE 2ND TERM. This, despite the fact that Fox News and Drudge Report are dead set on diminishing Obama any way they can (innuendo, lies, any negative story they can find) 24/7. Remarkable.

Why do republicans pull this card all the time? O'Reilly does this constantly, the idea of "well, we're number one!". Popular does not mean right, or true. If this were the case if someone were to inquire about something that is true, we'd simply look at what was the most popular idea, doctrine or theory. When people say fox is the number one network, I usually think "okay, according to this person, the greatest son is Candle in the Wind, best movie is Avatar, and best album is Thriller".

Number 1, I am not a republican, but a democrat. I use to watch ABC news and CNN. I would hear their reports concerning Obama and they were way off base. I like my news with proof and Fox shows you both sides and the truth. That is the reason I watch mostly Fox news now. I was a believer in Obama, until everything he promised and said he either did not do or he did the opposite. I am not the kind of person to go with the crowd, in fact, quite the different, but I know when I am being lied to.

The other networks were the opposite of Fox, they were/are biased in favor of the left wing. That is what caused the rise of Fox.
