  • No you play sergeant weaver

  • bachman is you.

  • AMIGA + Hard Disk FTW! :D

  • Games like this remind me of how important it was to have a second floppy drive for the Amiga xD Or else you'd be spending more time swapping disks than actually playing the game.

  • Reminds me of my childhood. Thanks for a great game. Something all the new games don't have that these old ones had. This and sierras red baron on the Amiga was my fav.

  • i remenber a great game!

  • I had very bad luck at this game, would end up stepping on a mine or something and one by one the team would start dropping like flies.

  • The sounds and graphics in the fistfight reminds me of T2.

  • It's so fucking difficult! I love it!

  • i have fond memories of tgis game. however, i also remember not being able to beat it. my men would all get wounded and killed rather quickly

  • I loved this game. It was very realistic in many ways, at least as for a game made for old computer. It gave me a lot of thoughts about this and that... I even remember I wrote an essay in primary school being impressed by this game and I got the best mark. Then the teacher told my mother that I'm writing essays like an adult and he was amazed... She didn't know that I was influenced by "just a computer game". Seems that some of the games can educate children even if are all about the war.

  • @trophy242 My and my neighbor played this for hours. For some reason it got stuck in my brain. Always makes me think of my childhood. You know that weird feeling when you see something you've long since forgotten and it just sends you back down memory lane...

  • @trophy242 Of course they can when they are made with the right intention. And these Intentions should be to give away an important message that you end up thinking about. That's one of the biggest points what a game should be about. Sadly this is a forgotten fact in these days and companys just make games to make as much money as they in the very first line and everything else comes way too short.

  • @trophy242

Hi Trophy, Simon and myself created this game. While I was researching it I became more and more saddened by the war and the pointlessness of it, and it stopped being a game for me, more of a reminder of everything that went on. I just hoped that somebody got the same feeling from it as I did, so reading your comments has a lot of meaning for me, I'm glad it had an impact on you. BTW, The last scene isn't a big theatrical piece, I just didn't think it appropriate.

  • @ShadowDevelopment Well, I'm shocked. Back in time, I couldn't even dream that one day, one of the authors of this great game that really influenced my person in childhood and... You know, the man I'm today, to some level it's the impact of this game and some movies, like Apocalypse Now and other great creations, or discussions I had, that made me thinking about the deeper sense of such things like war... Well. I don't know what to say :-) Thanks to both of you. It's very wise game.

  • This is truly an awesome game. So many good memories...

  • @Sopkes True, true
