Looks about quality as my old Droid Eris which also has a 5mp camera but doesn't shoot in 1080p, regardless they look similar. Still as grainy but the quality just passes as "good enough" for a cellphone camera.

@optimisticjames its not all about megapixels anymore and you can buy a spare battery keep that fully charged and just hot swap when you run out of power. i would have thought the price would be the main reason your obviously not a nexus fan.

@lapyro14 people keep saying it's not about megapixels anymore but that doesn't make this camera good :L it's hastle to carry a second battery, maybe you have the effort to carry two but ive got shit to do, i love nexus but a few things on this phone let it down too much :(

@optimisticjames My Galaxy goes for 26 hours as long i use it normally (Internet 1h, Gaming from time to time, checking e-mails, watch about 5 youtube videos, phone for about mhhhh 1-1.5 hours maximum and use some other little apps from time to time). So i don't think the Akku is bad. And about the Camera. Yes it's not thaaat good but for pictures in daylight it's amazing :) AAAAMAZING :D LUV it!

@optimisticjames I forgot to say... the camera is that bad here because the Nexus lacks a good gyro sensor ;( but still AMAAAAZING enough :D

@1moere1 thank you for helping me :) i seriously need a new phone i have the laggyest htc legend :/ i just got some questions, do you leave the 3g on all day too?? how does a gyro sensor affect a camera?? but out of 1 to 10 where would you rate it??

@optimisticjames a gyro sensor stabilisate your camera to prevent shaky pictures/videos. For example iphone (don't like because all have :/) and sg2 both have better gyros. But maybe it's also a problem of software-hardware comptability which could be improved by a softwareupdate. The only time i use 3g is for youtube or if i want surf faster. So i use most of the time edge (mail, rss feeds, facebook etc.). I rate it 8/10 only for the reason of camera. ...

This is the most stable video sample out of every other on youtube. Hopefully samsung/google will do sth about the poor image stabilizer. nevertheless, I want this phone... a phone is phone... not a camera...

tbh, I'm a little disapointed. I think even the Galaxy S performs better at night, but we'll see when more night time test videos are made with the Galaxy Nexus.
