That's what I said until I went to buy one. I went to a showroom last year looking for a 2006 MK1. When I saw the MK2 in person there was no way I was going to buy the MK1. Don't get me wrong. I still love the MK1 design. But MK2 is really stunning in person. And as to the person who said it's just a coupe version of A3- I've driven the new A3 and there is much more body sway in it than the TT where everything feels crisp and precise.

this car is a nice one but we have to face that its an audi A3 coupe or something like that and not a TT ,the old one was unique with a design that no other audi looks like..... and maked his own style TT style that one with A3 ,lights,hood,bumpers and saloon its an A3 and not the sport TT we use to drive , i own one 225 quattro grey mirage and would never change it for this one !!! tnx a lot for your time everyone .

if you live in somewhere with right hand drive cars ..theres no point of shipping it from the states...i live in Australia and it cost about that much here...you will just have to live with it....this isnt a good car for your first car anyways...you go and dent it your parents would probably kill you cause its not only the price of the car thats expensive..

i got myself a TT 3.2 L 250 hp with s-line package... suggest getting that package if you buy one...the different body kit, 19 in s-line rims, emblem, and seats really makes the car look exotic.. :)

My opinion is that you can`t compare TT with A4, but if I would be in your position I would buy A4 (B8) it`s much more functional.

It's not a girls car, i test drove a TT-s, its fast 0-60 in under 5 seconds. This car is perfect, With awd my nieghbor was driving it in a foot and half of snow. this car you can use all year.awesome handling and good amount of power. I'm waiting for he TT-rs. whats the hp for tt-rs does anyone know?

I own a 2002 TT in pristine mint condition-- The greatest car out there by far. You don't buy one of these for a back seat, you buy if for fun.

my god, i am so ashamed that when I saw this car go by on the streets i initially didnt know what it was, cuz it looked like the R8, but it was a bit too short. It wasnt a RS because it was too curvy and I didnt think TT because, I hate the TT, was ugly and a bit of a gay car, which is fine, but i didnt scream bloke's car. BUT! this car is amazing and i couln't believe how unbelievably sexy and good looking it was. one was parked outside and i just kept eyeing it, it was a thing of beauty.

-there are iron filings in the shock absorbers that when magnetized, offer a sportier ride
