Great flying, I really enjoyed that. You may have already him on YT but check out RCPowers. Guy in CA I believe, he is a Park Flyer but his tricks for flying EDF fan at high alpha are identical full scale. Longer throws, ch. mixing, gyros. I've been flying since 86, he's got the best grasp of design I've ever seen.

Great post though, really enjoyed it. I want to get a F22 and trick it out for high alpha, which is what the F22 was designed for. It will allow better control at slow speeds.

@qiovanni It's just a electric motor spinning a fan at VERY high speeds, around 54 000RPM. I'm afraid Alishanmao cant afford a real RC turbine yet... They cost tens of thousands and need real aviation fuel.

Loved watching this bird fly. I got a starter RC plane when I was 13 I think (~$200AU) and couldn't get it to stay in the air more than ten seconds. It only had one flight. Caught in a nose-dive it plummeted to doom. LOL. So totally appreciate the skill of flying this thing. Beautiful jet.

It wasn't too bad swelling but i am scared to charge in fear of an explosion. And where do u fly? It would be so fun to fly with you and pick up some of your knowledge of this hobby.

@sshukri0 you can still charge it without problems. but if it swells up quick during flight, that means it has more chances of exploding during flight and ruining your plane. I have so many swollen batteries that I charged at home. I always use pro chargers. i have never exploded a battery at home on charging, I have exploded them during flight though hehehee
