  • when sewing the net to the hair, did you sew the net to all of the braids that were cornrowed? excluding the hairline part?. like you sewed the net to the braids or around the braids?

  • good idea. Even though I know this is Old:) I never thought about doing my crochet

braids on a netted weave cap. This really keep your natural hair protected...

  • Weave Shampoo product works beautifully - Nubian Secrets FoamBurst Shampoo! Do find time to use and review these products: NubianSecretsONLINE They seem to work wonderfully for my daughter & her friends with "Locs".The basic concept seems to be ..Cleansing & Conditioning! Especially for folks with intricate Braid styles, who don't want to take their braids down. One item has "FOAM" to soak in and then be rinsed out. Works great and saves a lot of time! These Nubian Secrets work!

  • Why not just get micros or a weave? this is way too much work.

  • For those who did not understand...The nail glue is used on the weave hair and not the natural hair. Look at the video again. She did not once put nail glue on the real hair.

  • Why in the world would u put nail glue in some ones head.. Wow

  • wow the whole point of a latch hook is so you don't have to use glue for any reason and so that you don't have to make knots by hand. If you latch hook properly each strand of hairs will be knotted tightly and perfectly, same as ventilating with a needle.

  • seems like alot of work to go through

  • wow this is a terrible idea!

  • first as a licensed professional I DO NOT RECOMMEND APPLYING NAIL GLUE TO YOUR HAIR...it has harmful chemicals that will surely leak to your scalp and apply hair damage you can interlock hair with a similiar tecnique and it does not involve any glue!!

  • I am so going to try this..!

  • way to much work i give u props

  • I ain't hating this is alot of work, but a good lace wig sewn in around the circumference of your head, with this on the edges would look nice 4 thoses whom ain't crazy about glue/tape of any kind. Trust me it works well 2gether. I train N the Martial Arts 1-2 hrs every eve. + I work 11-7 on a psych unit. Ain't got time 4 itchy ass glue or skin irritating tape from sweating or my wig snatched off from dealing with my crazyy pt's having a bad night. Thanx sista 4 the vid info.

  • @jadedbutrfli lol

  • i know this is liiike soo random

but whats the name of the 2nd song

  • mamacita collie budz.

  • if you answer these can you tell us if the hair net is sewn to each row of braids or only around the outside

  • lol. madd old rockers tune!!!

  • Love the video and I'd like to use this method but I wan tto know can u reuse this piece, do you cut the piece out from your hair, wha's the dismantel part to be able to use the hair again ?

    thanks,

  • y didnt u show the front u didnt complete this video right becuz u showed us the front in the beginning but u didnt show the front at the end...what u dont want people to seee ur face

  • Looks like alot of work with the cutting, hooking and glueing.

  • do you have to use a hair net?

  • no affense but where are you from

  • i wanted to view the front and some one please answer this is this the same as fusion weaving??? and if not i would like to see a vid of fusion weaving send them to me if you will

  • no this is not like fusion, keyword search fusino weaving on here.

  • i did and there is no specific video for fusion weave maybe i haven't search good but if you ever come across one can you please send it to me thank you

  • Once again another great video I just wish I could have seen the front.

  • would have been nice to see a pic of the front or in an updo-type style.

  • you might as well sewed the hair in IMO good for a clouyser though

  • what type of weaving net is that? i cant find it at any beauty suppy store

  • It is just a net weave. Where are you located? You can usually find it at any beauty supply.

  • i tore up chicago and after about 3 stores, i bought the first net i saw not realizing the holes were too small. i worked with it though, now know what to do.

  • i am from chi town too. i don't know where you live, but Giant Beauty Supply in Roseland on like 112th n Michigian has everything.

  • whats the point of the net?

  • To protect the hair. Instead of knoting the weave onto the actually hair (which will stress it as you style the hair) you attach the hair onto the net so your natural hair is not damaged or stressed. You can do it without but that is a personal choice.

  • Yeah! That looks good on you!

  • Don't u notice that romance (hh or synthetic) hair tends to tangle? How do u let it keep its shape?

  • great video but would it be too much to ask you to show the front view as well. we see what the style looks like from the side and back but what it looks like from the front as well

  • taking that hair outta yeah head is hell , right?

  • If you use the net it shouldn't be hell because all you would have to do it cut the thread that is holding the net and it comes right off since the hair is attached to the net

  • ur trini! i thought yew were jamaican well im trinidadian and jamaicanraised half of mii life in trini nd the other in jamaica lolz but nice video love duh hair

  • Thank you for this tutorial. I just had a thought. Is it possible to premeasure your head and cut the net to fit and use a foam mannequin to do the technique (pin the net to the mannequin head)? Do you think that is easier to do? I'm just afraid that I may end up with nail glue in my natural hair. This is a great tutorial though and you should get into making lace front wigs because that is essentially what you are doing here. You could sell them on Ebay for $200 a pop. Take care.

  • i was thinking the same thing, considering i will be doing it myself, i don't want to get lost by latch hooking the same holes, and having loads of bald patches every where!!

i'm overly loving the music aswel lol (",) !!!

  • What song is this???

  • where in trinidad are u located? I am going back home soon in Tunapuna!

  • OMG!!! Wow you are good..gave me goose bumps. Thanks for showing this tutorial. i'm trying to learn as many none harmful hair weaving techniques as possible, due to my hair being thin. Thank you Thank you.

    P.s.

Have you done this on your whole head before?

  • Wow!

    Great work!

I really needed to know how to use the latch hook.

    God Bless!

  • It took me about a day and a half for real thats because I did a bigger middle portion than what I am saying in the video. The song is sang by pressure its called love and affection.Thank you I am learning new techniques every day, so as I learn them I will post more videos, love K.

  • great job how long did it take for you to do that

  • oh can you tell me who sings that song

  • that looks good your, very talented
