Ps saw you liked some of Paul Nison's videos, he's been around quite a while with his experiences - including a major figure in the raw food community... and his Torah ministries. Have you checked out his site, books, articles/etc. on eating and modesty? He also has videos here, majorrrrrrr controversy when he stopped being vegan and started using meat and dairy. Alot of people in the raw community lost major respect for him because of his decision - so not cool of them. To each their own diet.
@MyOwnStickFigure Oh yes, Paul is a great guy! I really like his videos, especially on modesty. I love the ones where he interviews women on modesty, etc. He has contacted me and wanted to do an interview on modesty, not sure when yet as he is pretty busy. It will most likely be through skype. I have checked out his site, not any of his books though yet. I agree, not cool of them. I am not raw vegan. I have organic yogurt, organic milk(but mostly almond or flax milk), some organic chicken/fish.
@MyOwnStickFigure It's all about conviction. Salvation is of Yeshua, but to obey Him to is obey His commands. So how we show Him we love Him is obeying Him....eating the way He wants us to, dressing like He wants us to, etc.
@MyOwnStickFigure 1 Corinthians 11 addressed head coverings and hair lengths - both women and men...
"4Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head, 5but every wifeb who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it is the same as if her head were shaven. 6For if a wife will not cover her head, then she should cut her hair short. But since it is disgraceful for a wife to cut off her hair or shave her head, let her cover her head. "
@MyOwnStickFigure Yes, this is truth. I believe a woman should have long hair, it's why mine is getting long. I don't plan to cut it again like I used to. I believe in head-coverings during worship/prayer. I don't feel convicted to wear one all the time, however I do believe we shouldn't dress up our hair and add 'sexiness' to it because the glory of a woman is her hair, and hair adds sexiness to a woman. I believe in being humble and modest in dress.
@MyOwnStickFigure Torah is in the bible, first 5 books ;-) It's not outside of the bible, as I would not learn from any source from the scripture. That would be wrong to go outside of what Yahweh says. Anyways, Torah is all about head coverings, I am studying this subject. I don't feel convicted to wear one all the time, but I do feel it is needed when we are in prayer as you gave the verse below. Women, in Yeshua's time and before, covered their head. It was a modesty issue!
Great VIDEO Sabrina. I realized all this a long time ago and have been raw/vegan for over six years and throughout that process been trying to get off chemical cosmetics and such. My life outside the eds is very pure and respectful to the earth, animals - God's Creations. My clothing and style changed as well. Eating like Eden - it's what I follow and support best for myself. Whole natural living foods are from God, processed are from man - not God's intentions. Are you off all chemicals?
@MyOwnStickFigure Thanks so much, Johnny. I agree with you, through studying Torah(first 5 books of the bible-guidelines for our health and life as is the WHOLE bible) I have found more respect for myself, for Yahweh, for His whole creation. I want to put even healthier food in my body, I thought I was healthy before but now Yahweh has opened my eyes to REAL food, live food to nourish our bodies. I am on organic and raw with our garden. I still eat cooked, as I like stir-frys with vegetables
@MyOwnStickFigure Products, off of them all...which I was more strict on that before learning all this about food. No makeup, no man made lotions, chemical products for hair/body, etc. Once we come to Yeshua, everything changes, He opens our eyes more and more every single day of our lives. We should constantly be learning in Him.
@MyOwnStickFigure A lot of the food today is so toxic, and Yahweh set specific instructions on what to eat so we wouldn't get sick and eat like the world. The world makes so much toxic food and advertises it on tv, etc to entice us. I do believe it's satans trick to keep us sick, hormone problems, fertility problems, cancer, etc etc etc.
I am so proud of you!!! I thing this is a testimony to Yahweh, showing that he created the Torah out of love for us. Obey Him and you shall be blessed for obedience is love!!! :)
I think you are confused. The Torah is the first five books of Moses, that does not include the new testament.
