How complex and subtle these rhythms are. Just when you think you "got" it, it goes off on something totally unexpected. What anchors me is that regular "shush" sound, but even the clapping of the women throws me off. The rhythms of most traditional African music are so sophisticated, it makes one listen all the more closely! Still love this video; what mesmerizing music. Gorgeous! Thanks again.
