  • This performance is just amazing. And it's 100% in sync if you open 2 tabs 7 seconds apart and watch the video of one while playing the audio of the other.

  • When I introduce people to drum corps, this is one of the shows I show them.

  • Does anybody know the name of the plus size color guard girl crossing just the 50 just above the numbers at 9:08 ? I wanna give her a foot rub......mmmm, so yummy!

  • I love the Tympani solo in the second piece. It's really cool they marched 6 bass drums. I'm in an all ages drum corps and we're playing Baroque Samba this year as our opener.

  • The video itself is very nice, but I think that the music is not in sync. Other that that, good job.

  • Favorite Crossmen show EVER: Now or Never!!

  • i marched Spirit in 90 and these guys always blew me away, well them and Madison, i loved their, I Can Cook Too Show.

  • @fortyfootfurby - Thanks! That was my ageout show. It's nice when people appreciate our 90 show because it was tough to pull off. We enjoyed playing it, but the crowds weren't always sold on it. I remember we followed Crossmen at Fairfield OH toward the end of the season...they killed it and the crowd went wild...we had to follow them and got golf applause. :( No regrets though. This is still one of my favorite Crossmen shows ever...with one of the groovingest drumlines!

  • do u hav a video of valley of the kings of crossmen

  • Can someone explain to me how to get on DALnet to download these videos in HQ?

  • RIP Bill Kellerman

  • I met Bill when he was still in HS and I was in college, a wonderful young man. Was great to talk Euphonium with him and just sit and hang. His Dad, the same way. 8)

  • Did Bill play the bari solo in the closer? I truthfully don't know, I'd guess he did. 8)

  • Yes he did. I've watched this video with him and he pointed himself out. He's the tall one on the end the whole show. I loved Bill. He was my band director in college and my bari tech at Cadets and of course one of my best friends. I miss him very much.

  • Thanks, Josh. He kept things real. I think from what I knew from meeting him and from knowing his Dad- he always encouraged, and told people if they worked hard, applied themselves, and had a heartfelt passion for the horn they could succeed like he did- never any of that Prima Donna garbage like a lot of talented guys like to throw at others. ;)

When I play my solo in Alumni Corps this year, I'm gonna be playing it for him alnog with my family and the fans.. 8)

  • @YEP321S That is very classy of you. Thank you. I worked with Bill's Dad as well in Williamsport and the whole family was very kind and loving. His tutelage transformed my baritone playing from g-dawful to barely tolerable. :)

    Hope you are well.

  • Any chance of somebody posting '91 Crossmen? I've been watching the '92 and '90 shows at YouTube and now I'm dying to see that awesome 91 Metheny show!!!

  • Amen- that '91 Horn book is still classic!

I's also like to see the year they closed with "how High the Moon"... great chart as well.

  • @existentialdreams yep yep, i wanna see 91 crossmen as well. great show!

  • this show made me a fan of New York Voices.. so much so that I became FRIENDS with all of them in particular Darmon Meader, the arrainger... they were so thrilled about this show... greatest bunch of talented people..

  • This is the show that convinced me to get off the couch and march in 91 and 92..

  • you cant hear the drums???

  • Might I add we put on CLINICS every time we hit the field with the exception of this final run in the snares... however we were one team and the TENORS played a flawless show...thank you "TOM-TOM CLUB" and shout out to the BASS LINE, without you there would be no "TEAM TIMBRE". WE "snapped necks and cashed large checks" please believe it!! Ask the teams we beat... They hated us but couldn't help but bob their heads! TOO FUNNY...Also "THE best marching drumline in DCI 1988'89'90"-Judy Tomko-judge

  • I'm the center tenor drummer from this video... we were the loudest corps on the field; and this came from Phillip Justice who aged out from Vanguard the year before (soprano soloist from "wishing you were somehow here again" Phantom of the opera) who also was at bones in' 86. I marched ALL those years straight-1986'87'88'89'90. Trust me we were the TRUTH. Two more weeks and who knows who else we would've beaten. The tick before the drumsolo in the snares was an ANOMOLY (brad gumond)!

  • I don't know, but from the field...it was surreal! '90 was my age out year from the Contra Line. Yo, Dogs! It's crazy to see the difference from '86 (when I started) as the corps seemd to be on it's last breath, to this show. Bones! It's a real testiment to the spirit, determination, and hard work of the people throughout the organization at that time. It was an awesome time to be a Crossman!

  • As a 2008 Crossman, I have to say. 1990 is godly. And the fact that you stuck around in such a bad time for the corps and brought it up gives me so much hope for 09.

  • Man I wonder what it was like to feel that power in the stands.

  • we play caravan in jazz band at my school haha

  • The closer is fantastic. It's one of my all-time favourites. Great selection too from the staff, as the music is perfect for drum corps. I played the '90 video to death back in Ireland....Crossmen in particular.

  • Thank you for your compliments! We were so incredibly happy...it was trully, in every way possible, the experience of a lifetime!!! And, the corps was so close that year...we had a "perfect chemistry"...and I trully believe it was that element that took us to the next level!

  • Wow, this brought back memories! Thanks to the person who posted!

  • That is a great closer! I wish I had seen it back then. I even felt a goosebump or two...are those allowed in drum corps anymore ;-)

  • fix the timing!

  • wow, look at that guard uni.... ouch!

  • This is sooo cool (minus the timing). We did Now or Never as our closer for our 2007 show and its great to see the original. GET THE TIMING FIXED THO!!!

  • for the love of god, fix this! it's driving me nuts. the timing. The timing! Ahhhggg! I can't enjoy the intricacy of drum corps by watching it first then hearing the music afterward. Just fix it Please!

  • Way cool. Loved the New York Voices Closer. The show exudes groovy, and it's so what the Crossmen are about. 8)

  • Finally 1990 Crossmen on YouTube! (1990 Sop Line)

  • GREAT FREAKIN SNARE LINE !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great solo.

  • my last year of teaching crossmen, what a difference from 87 to 90. It was a great time. And that was the best show ever, Dennis DeLuccia was also helping out in a guidance capacity.

  • this video is off by 7 seconds from the audio, but it's still a great show.

  • I was there for all 3 nights in Buffalo Ny. and WOW!!!! was that an experience. Since 1990 I have been over to 35 dci shows and 3 more championships.

  • Sweet! ... Where is Brian Walsh?!

  • Beaker???

  • Yep. Tall, thin, red-headed dude with a wicked, but sometimes, crude sense of humor ... very passionate about drum corps. He used to work for YEA, as well ... I knew him from working with him as HS band clinicians in Virginia.

  • is there anyway you can send me the original final. It's a great performance, but it's hard to get into with the audio/video sync problem.

  • opps my bad Jack did VK that year...he did '91s line

  • No, Jack was the man at Crossmen in 1990 as well. He was with both corps.

MAJOR audio/video sync problems with this clip!

  • Jack Meehan Horn Line!

  • WOW!!!!! Bring back the old CROSSMEN
