Seems to me the 'glow' on the side of your house is anything but extraordinary. The light from the sun is being reflected off *every* object (house, windows, leaves, ground, tiny particles in the air). Same reason why before electricity, people could still travel by "moonlight".

it set in front of the house (which would be

west) Behind this house is the eastern horizon. I live in No. Calif and the sun sets on the Western horizon. No, I don't have to look real hard for

1) just because you dont see the sun, doesnt mean its not still giving off light to your location.

2) anywhere on the planet there are places where it doesnt get noticeably dark until 9pm; location matters naught in this case, during the summers in upstate NY it doesnt get dark until around then, just as right now in the winter it gets fairly dark around 4:30pm.

During the summer, in California, the sun sets at around 9. There was sunlight from the setting sun glowing on your house. Haven't you ever noticed the difference in lighting when the sun sets? When it's lowering on the horizon it hits horizontal angles more directly, causing a glowing affect.

The light wasn't the sun. I believe you on that. It was the house lights on the neighbor behind you reflecting off your window. You pass the camera by them at 2:02 and 2:11. They're the same amber color as the light on your window.
