Really... If my child asked to go to TTU before the Overton Project I would say "No WAY!". As a parent I would not only check out the campus but the neighborhood surrounding it... thats what I want - my kids to go to a college with a crack house & murders across the street! Do your research... TTU is the only thing that brings $ to this town and to have it across from such a run down neighborhood will hurt Lubbock when being compared to other universities.

Well, that's progress, alright. Overton Park is so much better and has a bright future. Now I'd like to see some DAYTIME footage of that same area.
