I really do believe there is a huge conspiracy in the filming industry because they have replaced a lot of majority black cast sitcoms that people respected and loved with "Pretty Little Liars" and so forth...let the majority white cast destroy their own image b/c the theme of these sitcoms are mostly alike and they have to do with sex, pregnancy, cheating, and relationships. Teens dont need that...so when it comes down to a debate, we can blame tv and these shows. Teens need a better influence.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but The Game has already been cancelled. BET is trying to pick it up for a 4th season, but it has to be negotiated with CBS production company first. It will no longer be shown on The CW.

the last part of what you said is just ignorant. first off, have you even seen roomates? tamera's role asyou can see was not written for a "black girl" to play so the fact that she is playing a role outside of her comfort zone is amazing!. second, tamera is a part of the main cast or else she would not be in all of the promo's or in every episode. not all shows have 2 main characters ex: friends [6] seinfeld [4] the game [6] girlfriends [5].

I really like the show Roommates. What I don't like is that I was under the impression that Tamera Mowry is like the main character as is Tia in The Game, but Tamera isn't given much credit or lines. Plus when I press info on my tv, I see the names Tyler Francavilla and Dorian Brown......no offense to them, but I don't even know who they are. The only reason I watch the show is because Tamera is on there!!! The show is still good though. Oh yeah, and Sophie is VERY interestingly good, lol!

I have seen and like all of these shows. However, it's usually by chance that I catch them on television. For instance, I used to want to watch The Game on tv but the timing was so confusing. It would be advertised as if it were going to come on during a certain day and time and wouldn't be consistent so I just stopped watching it. Let's see: Girlfriends: Black Cast, Everybody Hates Chris: Black Cast, The Game: Black Cast. What else is there? When the merge between The WB and UPN happened, what shows were cut? Sitcoms with black casts. One on One, Half and Half etc. Look at The CW's line up right now! What do you see? We aren't playing victim dear.

@hustlaave You are absolutely right. The WB and UPN merge forced off most of the "black" sitcoms. Then, when The CW executives wanted a "change", they got rid of all the 30 minute sitcoms. It just so happens that most of the 30 minute sitcoms had black casts. I do not believe it's a coincidence. Look at the CW's current line up. There is a certain image being conveyed. The target audience is pretty obvious.

It only takes a couple showings for a show to be canceled. If no one tunes in for the premiere then you are wasting money and time if they haven't tuned in by the 2nd or 3rd showing. In the end, it's dollars and cents... if no one is watching then who will keep giving you money to air it?
