  • If animals arent there to be eaten, why are they made out of meat?

  • @Shiftee88 Why are you made of meat? Shall we eat you, now?

  • @AmyWTFAutopsy Well yes idiot I am made of meat which is why a lion/wolf/shark wouldnt hesistate to eat me. Its called an ecosystem u fuckwit.

  • the thing is that they are doing everything to reduce population so this is just bs

  • Has anyone not noticed that it's been 4 Years since this video was recorded.

    FOUR long difficult years

and he hasn't done a thing to change anything like he said he would.

Both of my Parents are suffering from low-fiber and high cholesterol, they're wasting money on pills that we can't afford to spend (luckily I'm a vegan). It's obvious, that even Obama can't go against big business--huge corporations designed to make you sick and keep you sick and suck the money and life out of you.

  • Don't listen to what this asshole has to say, which is nothing...and don't expect any politician to make any changes whatsoever in the factory farming of animals for food.. The only person that can and will make a difference is YOU!

Watch "EARTHLINGS" this is an essential documentary, at times shocking and difficult to watch but ESSENTIAL EDUCATION on this very subject.. After watching you will never consider your "Steak" or any other animal product the same ever again.

    VEGAN ALL THE WAY!

  • Well spoken girl..

  • honestly i'm not vegan. i'm omnivore (plant+meat). and we are meant to eat meat. look at our jawset! it's similar to a bears. sharp teeth for tearing in the front, flat teeth for plant grinding in the back

  • @sirinterweb We are just like animals when it comes to physical features. Over time, we physically adapt to our environment and lifestyle. For example, Huskies in Antarctica have thick fur coats suitable to protect them from the freezing weather. I think, it is the same way with us. At some point, humans added meat to their diet and so over time, our teeth physically adapted to allow us to eat meat as well as vegetables. See where i'm going with this? : )

  • @betterbblack yeah humans are naturally omnivores through evolution

  • @betterbblack what do our teeth have to do with the sustainability of the meat industry? it's not about eating meat, it's about where it comes from. eating meat would be fine if the way it was produced was good to the animals and the environment. sure, we're evolved to eat some meat, but that doesn't really have any bearing on the seriousness of the issue.

  • @pompommonster I was responding to a comment regarding teeth..we're not meant to eat anything. I'm simply saying our bodies can adapt.

  • He's an asshole :/

  • Obama does not care about you - he is the blood of an oligarch - like Vlad the Impaler he eats blood. His only concern is how to tax you to breath.

"Fear is the mark of a slave." - Diogenes of Sinope

  • The video is good but, he just mention things we need. Did he mention that he is gonna make any changes? hahahaha Makes me laugh. All I hear is lips service... Otherwise he would not be there right? lol

  • 3:51 guy on the right flips off obama

  • she killed it, good on her!

  • The U.S. is a pretty shitty country. Just saying.

  • the most amazing nation in the world. okay. can't take her serious anymore, sorry.

  • Wow, I'm glad he was at least open to answering here question. Wonder how a republican would've responded. Oh yeah I know, " God put the animals here for us to eat"!

  • The girl is 100% right. We lose 90% of the food energy in our produce by feeding it to livestock instead of eating it ourselves. But unfortunately cows are fucking delicious. Nobody's saying we should all go vegan. But it wouldn't hurt to place more emphasis on vegetables.

  • The girl is 100% right. We lose 90% of the food energy in our produce by feeding it to livestock instead of eating it ourselves. But unfortunately cows are fucking delicious. Nobody's saying we should all go vegan. But it wouldn't hurt to cut down on the meats and introduce a vegetarian meal every once in a while.

  • mother fucker. liar!!!!

  • Obama won a noble peace prize. He then started a war with libya. It doesn't matter if you eat meat or not. We are all scum!

  • Obama states that Americans would benefit from a change in diet. But more correctly the 'ENTIRE WORLD' would benefit from a change in the American diet. Less meat consumption means less factory farming which in turn means less depletion of our resources and less pollution and global warming.

  • @AnneAnsel but in order to have more vegetables to consume , trees and big areas of plants would have to be cut in order to plant those vegetables to consume and it would increase harm in the enviroment. Now, im vegan.. I don't know what would happen to the world if they change

  • oh cmon dude. get to the point.

  • He certainly pussy footed around the question!

  • @SU2340 Yes he did... eh.

  • Lying Fuck. It's controlled by HAARP and its cheaper to grow vegetables and fruits than raising cows and pigs which are causing health problem. Stop Monsanto!

  • Good question. Horribly inadequate bumbling answer from the King of Bumbling. As long as he was in the mood for making promises he couldn't keep, he could have said something about the billions of dollars in subsidies that the government gives to the meat and dairy industry. He could have mentioned that the number one source of dioxin (the most hazardous carcinogen ever discovered) is meat, or that he would tax the Big Meat industry and use the money to fund his overpriced healthcare plan...

  • Most amazing nation in the world, pfff.......

  • Don't go vegan, be a vegetarian if you don't want to eat meat.

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat vegetarians support the veal industry as well as the torture that a dairy cow goes through... no thanks GO VEGAN!

  • @lookwhatsnext yeah but the first point to starto going vegan is vegetarian.. start by eating less meat, and so on.. cus it's hard to go vegan in 1 minute.. well I did... but it was because i didnt like meat since i was born but i'm still fighting with mayonnaise because i love it, but ppl who eat meat they can't go vegan that quick.

  • @lookwhatsnext herp derp herp derp.. they both help. so you are saying that PETA (mostly vegan) does more good than the ASPCA(mostly vegetarian)? I think not. They both do an equal amount of good. I believe the ASPCA has done more good but that is my opinion. The least us humans can do is just make slaughter houses better for animals. Humankind will never stop eating meat.

  • @ArrogantQuack Hi thank you for the reply. You just built a strawman I never said anything about Peta or Aspca. However now that you bring it up. The ASPCA cares mostly about dogs and cats. I am happy for the work they do and they are not in any way a vegetarian or vegan organization. PETA is a vegan animal rights organization. I am glad for the work they do also. Both groups do some things I do not agree with and both groups do things I think should be commended.

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat a glass of milk has a lot more suffering behind it than a piece of steak. vegetarianism is only half-way there.

  • @llkdll Yes going out to a cow and pulling on it's nipples until milk comes out, and then processing it. Or Milk being processed out of a machine for faster milking on a dairy farm. Or the very rare beatings that mothers get in abusive factories which workers do for jolly fun. Your overgeneralization of dairy products is exactly how i thought, proving once more that vegans will believe anything they watch. gofigure mediafag

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat it doesn't matter how "nice" you treat the cow, at the end of the day, to produce milk the cow has to be forcefully impregnated. farms are businesses and it will cost a lot of money if the calves naturally fed on their mother's milk. doesn't matter how nice they are treated, they have to separate the calves from the mothers. cows suffer greatly from anxiety and depression when being separated and become restless. the calves are sold to the veal industry.

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat we have no reason to consume dairy. none whatsoever other than the taste and convenience. you sound like you're trying to justify your position without any evidence, and calling people mediafag does not give your argument any weight. you sound like you're a dairy fanboy with a milk bottle in his mouth 24/7. go do some proper research on the health and environmental impacts of dairy. it's not just about the cruelty, though it's the major issue.

  • @llkdll The words of a mediafag

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat what's a mediafag? is that all you have to say after losing an argument? i kind of feel sorry for you.

  • @llkdll Because your a mediafag that believes everything you see. That alone re validates my argument.

  • @llkdll Eating meat is immoral! Check out my video! /watch?v=6r5a9zDv0E8

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat yeah you are very stupid.. go and let those people hurt the cows.. it is true... then how do you think people get the milk out of the cow? by magic? all of that you said is true and you know it in your little head

  • Vegans: People who put animals over humans: De-humanizers.

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat Vegans don't put animals over humans! You're crazy.

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat .. then you put humans over animals right?

    De-animalizer

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat oh and remember you are an animal too ! IDIOT

  • @MissRenesmeePretty Remember that if we go by what you say, anything that breathes is an animal. Ants are animals too! So by animal you mean living thing. When i say animal i mean WILD animal.

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat ok.. so? I know ants are animals too, and I try my best not to kill them.

  • @MissRenesmeePretty Pests like rates invade your home and you repel them by hugging them until they go away. Enjoy your leukemia.

  • @SuperMutantSpaceCat i don't hug them.. i just catch them and let them out .. sure i'll enjoy i dont care..

  • Stupid question, and stupid answer.

  • Mm.... Not bad

  • This is old but damn, I have never seen this! Great mini speech.

  • Like the brand new american vegetable called pizza...

  • Like the president said, He likes a steak on in a while. I don't think that is going to harm anyone. I believe they should target junk and processed foods, I think they are more likely to do harm, as well as alcohol and tobbaco, then moderate amount of meat. but at the end of the day, you can eat whatever the f*&k you wanna eat.

  • @58jtaylor

Obama is harming America, he is a traitor and a socialist

  • @AnatomicalALIGNMENT I suppose you can do a better job than sitting back in your chair on the computer blaming everyone and trying to solve the worlds problems? Stop focusing on all the negative crap in life or it will pass you by.

  • @58jtaylor

    yo sama hussein yo bama

  • @58jtaylor yeah and you believe that? "On in a while" means "Every day, meal, moment"

  • @greengirl9486 so are puppy mills. what is your point? idiots are going to find a way to harm animals inevitably. at least cows and chickens are given a full life and an opportunity to get fresh air and exercise on most dairy farms.

  • @conday1990 I agree, puppy mills are terrible, too. My point is that all these industries should be regulated more, precisely because of what you said. And I hate to break it to you, but you're living a fantasy life thinking that dairy farms are a happy place for animals.

  • @greengirl9486

Barack Obama fully supports and is in favor of Puppy Mills , he said hes in favor of slaughtering and eatin the Puppies the same way he eats a steak !

  • @conday1990 no they don't , chickens are in cages all day long. do you think or what?

  • you can take meat away from me but you will never pry the pizza, pie, and ice cream out of my hands.

  • @conday1990 Good you can have veggie pizza, veggie pie without any consumption of dead animals. Check out my videos and channel.

  • @haridham

    watch this channel

    THE FRUITARIAN

  • @haridham I love delicious dead animals and cheese on my pizza.

  • veganism is a step too far. you can't enjoy delicious desserts and treats and breads all because they don't want an animal to do what every animal is meant to do, produce milk. speaking as a vegetarian, as long as the animal is providing enough milk to provide its offspring with sustenance, consuming dairy products isn't bad.

  • @conday1990 I think advocating veganism is more because the dairy industry is cruel and unregulated just as the meat industries are. If we could be sure that those animals aren't being tortured as well, I'd be okay with dairy, too.

  • @greengirl9486

did you vote for this Moron in 08 ?

  • @conday1990

make sure you watch this channel

    RAW FIT CHRIS

  • @conday1990 yes you can enjoy all of that, duhh u obviously are too lazy to search for the tru facts!! get your facts straight

  • @haridham

meat eaters as well as Vegans feel horrible about voting for this Lazy, do nothing sleazy slime ball for President in 08

  • @haridham No I don't feel at all guilty for eating meat. There's no reason to. Thats what its here for and its delicious. I would never go vegan or vegetarian. Bring on the steak and chicken!! :)

  • @lovebigboobs29 Oh wow... yeah you r right, so can I eat you please? cus im starving and since im vegan i don't have any meat here, if yes , then i'll have to cut all your legs and arms, mhh so delicious roast them with some bbq sauce ahh.. yeah well even if i would have to be eating your blood (kinda gross) it's delicious , dont you think i sound retarded? yeah that's how u sound whne u say meat is delicious.

  • @MissRenesmeePretty No you are the retard. The farm animals are here to be eaten and are in fact delicious.

  • @lovebigboobs29 yeah that's why u r retarded.. cus u dont know how to defend ur opinions with good reasons..

  • @MissRenesmeePretty I am retarded because I know that being an omnivore is a healthy way to live? Get a clue. We have been eating meart since the beginning and all of a sudden a bunch of veggie queers say its unhealthy? LOL

  • @lovebigboobs29 u get a clue, omnivore is not healthy at all.. and its not only about health , if u are human at least u could think about how bad is killing animals and that killing them for ur own convenience is selfish, im sorry i know it's impossible for u to underdstand it cus u r retarded and immature.. seriously, if u hate vegans so much FUCK OFF!

  • @MissRenesmeePretty Its very healthy and I could give a fuck less about the kuilling them part. Call me selfish "Oh fuckin well". I will continue buying what I choose to. I am not retarded. You self righteous douches are retarded. Yes vegans are whats wrong with this planet.

  • @lovebigboobs29 i dont give a fuck if u want to buy meat or not just FUCK OFF!!! leave us alone .. u r retarded or immature , maybe both because ur life is so sad that the only thing that makes u feel better is bothering ppl.. STFU!

  • @MissRenesmeePretty ROFL my life is far from sad. I am very happy.

  • @lovebigboobs29 haha running out of words? tought so.. lol

  • @lovebigboobs29 Studies have proven this. So it is not just a bunch of veggie queers as you bigots say. Also how can you accept killing animals solely for your taste?

  • @LuckynumberSlevin11 Studies have no proven shit. Only those false vegan studies. I accept killing them for food because they are delicious and we breed them for food.

  • @MissRenesmeePretty ha ha ha nice reply to this animal murderer bastard ...god job

  • ///And what is also true is that as countries like China and India become wealthier, they start changing their food habits; they start eating more meat, more animals./// Wealthier..? India??? I wonder!!! We may get wealthier with more animal products, but not healthier. It is about cruelty, compassion and other humane things we should keep in mind instead of WEALTH!!! Obama is also one of several meat addicts! As a senator, his speech is good about economy! But where is humane Obama? So sad!

  • Thanks, Barry!

  • meat is 90% of my diet. fuck the vegan cult.

  • @isaaccarnes Cult? Veganism isn't a religious group. It's people who care about animals and the earth.

  • @Dieselandgunpowder like oh my fucking god. no way.

  • @isaaccarnes Lyk, totesmagotes.

  • @isaaccarnes

Veganism is so anti-religion that you are so religious that you wouldn't even understand it.

  • @Dieselandgunpowder yes good point. Perhaps meat eaters feel guilty about eating meat, what do you think. Check out this video and channel. /watch?v=MzXlsTKndGA

  • @Dieselandgunpowder

watch this great vegan health channel and spread the word

    LIFE REGENERATOR

  • @Dieselandgunpowder

    its a cult

  • @Dieselandgunpowder @isaaccarnes and their health!

  • The vegan diet or lifestyle can kiss my ass. Balanced diet is best not the vegan diet. Balanced diet with meat included rocks!

  • So much hope for him back then...

  • @walstib1970

its amazing to me that it took People 4 years to realize this man was ALWAYS nothing but a phony slimey sleazy con artist from the streets of Chicago.

Obama is a hollow empty suit and a Light weight, he offered us NOTHING of substance in 08, he NEVER said anything specific, just a bunch of vague bs crap that lead no where

  • Vegetarianism woo hoo /watch?v=WWMnscY04AY&feature=channel_video_title

  • All good, but what has he done since he's been in power? In terms of eliminating destructive subsidies etc? It's indicative of a broader trend in his presidency: all hope, no change.

  • Thank you for the reply, I also just watched a video on President Clinton that he became a Vegan after his artery bypass, and it helped him get his weight back to what it was in high school.

  • @weDONTwantObama He should make a change that Vegans/Vegetarians believe in.

  • @haridham

Vote Obama 2012 , Radical Liberal Hope and Change, the Death of America !

  • @Epicnerdgasm It is possible to do container gardening or raised beds. All you need is a backyard with dedicated space to plant above ground.

  • I want a Vegan president

  • @birdizzle me too, image how much the world would change if meat production was cut down?

  • @birdizzle

Obama said he will be whatever anyone wants him to be, as long as they vote for him so he can continue his plan of destroying the entire American economy .

  • that bitch needs a cheese burger

  • @weDONTwantObama watch?v=ms7yoerGaPU&feature=relmfu

  • Outstanding question and an outstanding answer.

  • @Jamminn555

Great question from that girl in the audience, and a classic double faced phony answer from a bought and paid for sleazy slimey classic con artist professional Political parasite

  • @AnatomicalALIGNMENT Thanks for the video, Im gonna go eat a nice big steak. Maybe you should focus your hatred and energy into something else and stop forcing people to eat and believe in what you want them too. There are way to many control freaks in the world without adding any more.

  • @58jtaylor Thats an interesting statement. I think that statement should be examined. Is eating meat primitive? Check out this video! /watch?v=aS5CpSXDULM

  • @haridham

    watch this great channel

    THE FRUITARIAN

  • I have a gluten allergy, which makes it difficult to be a Vegan. Vegetarian Hindu's believe that milk is a gift from God, and is used in many sauces in their vegetarian dish's. Fish oil is also good for your brain, and heart, so I am not sure if being a Vegan is right for me.

  • @Josemedeiros thank you for considering it! i'm not a nutritionist but what i keep hearing is that a dairy's flat out bad for humans. it's breast milk of a huge cow designed for baby cows, not humans...especially as adults. visit the physicians committee for responsible medicine with your questions, cuz being vegan and gluten free is more common than you think - i can name 3 off the top of my head. fish oil have omega 3's which we can get from sea vegetables too. Earth speed and peace4all!

  • @Josemedeiros gluten? you don't have to consume gluten, actually most of the animal cruelty stuff has gluten.. yeah but i don't think you want to drink fish oil.. thats just nasty.. almonds and this other nut i forgot the name in english (im hispanic) that nut is soo good for your brain, and it actually has the shape of a brain and it tastes good. And olive oil is better for your heart especially extra virgin one, Fish oil is just fat, it's bad for your body don't you think?

  • obesity, heart disease diabetes -> grains, fruits and all other industrial crap

your children are given poison at schools + vaccines :D

  • If eating meat is so gross and veggies are so much better, why make veggies look like meat in the first place? Vegans get disgusted watching people eat a ground beef hamburger. Why would they even want to make tofu look like ground beef? I'm disgusted by feces but do I go out of my way to make my food like a poo? Think about it.

  • @JTSDAD67 not all vegans and vegetarians think that people should eat meat substitutes. only some do.

  • @JTSDAD67 well not all vegans are "disgusted eating a ground beef hamburger" per say, most vegans also go on that diet for health reasons(and if your going to argue about the lack of "protein, calcium, and B12" save your breath because there is plenty of fortified products that carry those vitamins), And generalizing all vegan food looking like feces is a dramatization (ill have to admit there are SOME foods that look like crap), but there are other foods that look great and taste good.

  • @JTSDAD67 umm, well because most people who go vegan were fans of meat so they try to make it look like meet and to not miss it anymore. Yeah im vegan and I'm disgusted when people eat real meat, because it looks gross, the inner part has like veins, blood ,cartilage, fat, ewwwwwww ugghh just thinking about makes me want to vomit. The only part vegan meat tries to dramatize is the outter part.. that's it.

  • Mark Twain, time traveler who arrived and left on Haley's Comet, said listen to the Beatle, not the politicians. Paul McCartney is on youtube saying the human race will end if humans don't go vegan. And here is our great American president saying steak and barbecue are yum-yum. A lot of the nations targeting the U.S. for total annihilation are vegetarians.

  • the gov legislates diet already by hyper-subsidizing factory farmers (corn/soy too). Therefore unethical, destructive & unhealthy foods are the lowest hanging fruit. Of course a family of 5 will work to curb costs where they can. They can't spend $5 just on 5 organic apples for their family when an entire bucket of fried chicken can be an entire meal for the same cost. Subsidies...we all gotta get behind the Farm Bill's improvement. In the mean time, watch Farm to Fridge

  • ooh! she tickles my scalp. How cool. I'm a vegan too. I like what he says in response, for the most part. I really like how his wife likes to get involved with efforts related to American's health, reducing obesity and getting kids of this generation to make better choices.

  • Vegan mock meats taste like shit

  • @flootisboy65 not true! Morning Star is awesome!!

  • The president gave the best answer he could. He can't force Americans to change their diet. That would be too upsetting to the fast food cartels. I'd like to see the cholesterol and blood pressure levels of those who are 100% certain that a vegan diet is wrong. Will they refuse drugs to combat this because it's "not natural?"

  • It makes me sad how people started clapping when he said "He likes a steak" or whatever... I wish it wasn't like that

  • @Epicnerdgasm Grow your own food without pesticides or herbicides and it will be organic. You'll get way more out of your food than the supermarket variety. Monocropping is detrimental to the Earth: growing a variety of plants will benefit each other to fight disease and increase produce. Compost, compost tea, soil amendments, worm and bat poop will increase plant production.

  • Vegan mock meats can be absolutely delicious. Making soy taste exactly like chicken or beef is incredible. Vegan "chicken" Kung Pao is awesome!

  • @harlequinforest777 Question if I may, why in the world would you(if you're indeed a Vegan) want your food to taste "exactly" like chicken or beef?. I believe this would defeat the purpose of Veganism.

  • @truth2748 It doesn't actually taste exactly like meat, it just has a "meaty" texture and is seasoned in a way that makes it taste very similar, almost exactly, but not quite. You can tell it is not murder that you're eating, and it tastes healthier and more delicious IMO. BTW, the purpose of veganism is to reduce as much suffering as possible. Vegan food can taste like anything you want, but as long as an animal didn't have to suffer or die for it, then it fulfills its purpose. :)

  • @harlequinforest777 I was just quoting your assertion, "exactly" as you stated. But now that you have retracted, it will be more digestible for those that don't understand why a Vegan would want his/her food to taste, again I'm quoting you here, "exactly like chicken or beef". The lesson here-yes, we're indeed trying to reduce suffering(at least that is the wikkipedia answer) but wining people over with, "hey it tastes just like meat!" does not advance the movement at all.

  • @truth2748 dude go eat a dick

  • @harlequinforest777 That was easy.

  • @truth2748 You're just annoying. If you don't agree with veganism, fine. I don't care. But there's no need to nitpick people on youtube. It's very immature. And there's nothing wrong with vegan food that tastes "exactly" like meat. It serves the purpose for meat lovers to easily transition to a vegan diet. I will no longer respond to your petty responses.

  • @harlequinforest777 Okay, so you do like your food to taste "exactly like meat". You are singing the wrong tune, and jumped on the band wagon that is the American Vegan fad, or Vegan "diet", whatever you want to call it. You Vegan, ridiculous.

  • @harlequinforest777 Boy you go back and forth, don't you kid?.

  • @harlequinforest777 And finally, you can't just watch a movie, or google Veganism, and think you know all about this 3000 year tenet. Most American Vegans are very misguided, and you are a living sample.

  • @harlequinforest777

Vegan Chix Filets are great, too. I fed them to my son and he had no clue it wasn't chicken. LOL

  • @harlequinforest777 what you dont know is there really is beef or chicken in it. :P have you ever taken it to a lab foryourself to examine? ;)

  • @harlequinforest777 Clearly if you flavour something artificial to taste like meat, you enjoy the flavour, why not just eat the real thing.

  • @58jtaylor Because mock meat doesn't have the health and environmental consequences that real meat has.

It is like a guy who loves driving cars - But chooses an eco friendly or electricity run car instead of a petrol fueled one.

  • @58jtaylor because there are people who know the consequence of doing so. the consequence on our body, the animals sake, and the environments.
