I'm sorry but do you realize what you are saying? The government is already breathing down our necks thanks to the Patriate Act. Now not only should we look out for terrorists (or just people of middle eastern decent) but also our neighbors. We are becoming the perect paranoid androids the goverment wants us to be so we will hand over even more of our freedoms just to feel "safer".
Your video was good and it's hard to blame anyone when something this shocking happens. The boy had serious problems and I feel they should have been investigated sooner and he should have been watched. I think a teacher also wanted him out of her classroom does that not raise a red flag. Maybe this will open eyes and help others. If anyone suspects a friend or another person with strange ways or plans then they should alert someone so this person or persons can be watched right. God Bless
I don't think anyone is blaming Virginia Tech for the shooters actions. What some people are saying is that Virginia tech did not fulfill their responsibility to their students. The shooter is responsible for his decisions. The university is responsible for theirs. It may seem unkind to evaluate whether or not the university was doing their job but it is actually the kind thing to do - because if mistakes were made, we can all learn from them.
everyone in this world is crazy!!!!i hate that person who did that!!he killed my fricken cousin!!!!!god if that dude didnt already kill himself then grrrrrr!!!!
Charles Joseph Whitman (June 24, 1941 -- August 1, 1966) was a student at the University of Texas at Austin and a Marine, who is known for having ascended The University's 27-story tower on August 1, 1966 and shot at passersby in the city and on the campus below, having killed his mother and his wife the night before. In all Whitman killed 15 people and wounded 31 others before he was shot dead by Austin police. OK IN 1966 THERE WAS NO VIDEO GAMES RIGHT
This is my point: We are attacking the good people for not stopping the bad and not the bad person for DOING the bad. Locking the school down might have stopped this massacure that day, but there is no garentee that he wouldn't have been back the next day to finish what he started or even gone somewhere else to release his anger.
This country is pretty messed up due to political corruption, illegal immigration, open borders, gangs, drugs, racism, liberalism and more. Our society is stuck in this mentality unfortunately people think gun control will fix this country, it won't. Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Russia, and India tried it and their murder rates got even higher. Good vid btw.
I appreciate your view points Busyizzi. Blaming any one or any group besides the actual murderer will NOT accomplish anything. Locking down the school would have only trapped other people with the killer. Anyways, how do you successfully lock down a place with 10,000+ people? It is completely impossible to do that. Blaming others than the killer only divides us further by hurting people and groups that do NOT deserve it. Focus the anger and blame on the murderer and ONLY on the murderer.
Blaming the police and the college officials is EXACTLY what needs to be done here. Why the hell does everyone say "Oh, they didn't have enough time to issue a lock-down", or "They thought the incident was under control", or "That would've been rediculous" etc etc? Two people were MURDERED on campus! Not locking that whole school down after that was PURE NEGLIGENCE! Indictments ought to handed down for lives lost due to negligence from all officials involved with this tragedy.
Don't get me worng I think there is a huge lose of public responsibility to take care of each other but that is not the issue here.
