this is not autotuned. celine has a robotic tone all the time. i placed this note in auto-tun and it has too much character lef tit it.. it even strats to drift off the nots a tad bit. of it was auto-tuned it would have been snapped into place. what you may be refering to is the live reverb.
i can show you over 100 performances where she has a "mechanical" tone to her notes. this is NOT autotune. I am a audio engineer and I know what autotune sounds like even on the lowest re-tune speed. Live reverb CAN sound mechanical, depending on which one you use and the setting. For instance Waves makes a reverb plug-in named Rverb. If you choose the vocal plate setting it makes your voice sound "tinny" and or robotic. I think you need to do your homework before making inaccurate assumptions
Ok, let's make it clear once and for all: it's called "melodyne". You can look it up on youtube or google if you want. It doesn't mean at all that she cannot sing amazingly anymore. If the effect wasn't there, this note would probably sound the same, only without the robotic effect. She didn't necessarly take the decision to use Melodyne... it's probably the people in charge of the montage (or something like that) who decided to use it to make everything sound "perfectly perfect".
@Gudulpif autotune and melodyne are essentially the same damn thing. It's a vocal pitch correcting tool. I wouldn't be surprised if melodyne was the original name for autotune. Who cares what people call it as long as we all know what people are talking about.
@cinqoctaves vocoder and autotune are two completely different things. Autotune is a pitch correcting tool which often has the bad side-affect of robotic sounds in the voice. A vocoder effect is only for making the voice sound robotic. A singer such as Celine wouldn't use this effect for any reason.

Autotune gives that robotic unatural tone, and here that's so obvious to me.
Of course Celine can sing even higher than that and she sang this song a lot of time live but her tone is is too robotic here to be natural.

Yes Maybe but she definitivly never sounded like that by the past.
It's vocoder (or auto tune),definitivly they did something,it's not her natural voice.
Live reverberation doesn't sound robotic.Here her voice sounds robotic.
