dance teachers do that so us dancers can get our moves right, it's annoying for other people watching it yes but it helps the dancers. And if some of you people took the time to read the info then you would know that the teacher was bound to yell.
I like when my teacher says certain moves during the dance, then when it comes to the recital i know exactly when to do things because i remember exactly when she said pike or reach or look or whatever. It helps me atleast.

I am a Dance major, and even though yelling can encourage some dancers to push themselves, her constant yelling is a distraction and she is actually hindering her dancers because they need to learn to get that energy on their own. The girls dancing here are actually very good, so she needs to let them perform without the constant bombardment of un-needed yells of counts, and "Come on girls!!". It's ridiculous, and just an embarrassment on her behalf, but other than that, Great Routine!

That is what it takes to be a dancer. She is yelling one because the music and two it makes the dancers better. I'm one of them and she is awesome at teaching and making them look really nice and pretty but this is a process that u have to go through to be a great dancer.
U seem to be defending ur teacher so much, I like that:) but nevertheless, am a dance teacher too and have my own dance school plus been a professional dancer over 10yrs but never experienced a yelling of that grade. That is a bit too much, agree with me or not but it is the reality.
@TheKnwalters I was a professional dancer for several years but never had a horrible annoying teacher like that. I sear I would walk out! Now am also a dance teacher and run my own dance school but can not imagine making such squicky annoying sound to my students. Truth has to be said and we got to accept correction not argue. Dancing may have been great but I think the dancers got scared by the intimidating voice commanding them.
it would be so much more great if the teacher wasnt screaming right by the camera...i know teachers critique and everything but if she were across the room instead of by the camera my right eardrum would be so much happier! lol

It's so weird how she was yelling through all the absolutely beautiful parts so I couldn't pay attention to your movements very well, then when you all executed horrible fuettes, she wasn't yelling. Anyway, except for the fuettes you all were amazing!

except if you've ever had a good instructor you remember stuff like that in competition. You would do a certain combination and hear pop or up or bring it. I remember hearing SMILE BIGGER!! for parts of certain routines. Those are the things you remember when you're on stage. By the looks of it she's a good teacher.
You know..It was a really good dance. The coreography was really interesting, I liked it. You guys do need better turns and more emotion though. Once you have that down you girls will have 1st place!

Dude this is the teacher and this is a rehearsal not a performance. The girls know I love them! This shouldn't have been put on youtube and it should be taken down!

That is what it takes to be a dancer. She is yelling one because the music and two it makes the dancers better. I'm one of them and she is awesome at teaching and making them look really nice and pretty but this is a process that u have to go through to be a great dancer.

U seem to be defending ur teacher so much, I like that:) but nevertheless, am a dance teacher too and have my own dance school plus been a professional dancer over 10yrs but never experienced a yelling of that grade. That is a bit too much, agree with me or not but it is the reality.

@TheKnwalters I was a professional dancer for several years but never had a horrible annoying teacher like that. I sear I would walk out! Now am also a dance teacher and run my own dance school but can not imagine making such squicky annoying sound to my students. Truth has to be said and we got to accept correction not argue. Dancing may have been great but I think the dancers got scared by the intimidating voice commanding them.

i kind of like that the teacher is yelling
it shows how hard the work is,
dancing with someone constantly shouting suggestions at you
the girls are amazing dancers :D

it would be so much more great if the teacher wasnt screaming right by the camera...i know teachers critique and everything but if she were across the room instead of by the camera my right eardrum would be so much happier! lol

well im one of the dancers there and she is my teacher and she is one of the BEST teaCHERS there and she is awesome!!!! that is what a dancer as to be told to be the best out there!

It's so weird how she was yelling through all the absolutely beautiful parts so I couldn't pay attention to your movements very well, then when you all executed horrible fuettes, she wasn't yelling. Anyway, except for the fuettes you all were amazing!

OMFG! If my dance teacher was yelling at me like that, I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DANCE. Wtf?! I am sure this is a beautiful dance, and you guys seem amazing, but I'm sorry I had to turn it off. She was yelling SO LOUD. Anyways, we did a dance to this last year, and I just wanted to see the comparasions.

really good dance just make sure to work on ur turns have keeping ur foot pointed. Also to everyone that is telling the dance teacher to shut up thats what they do lol a lot yell like that so just get over and from the dance she looks like a pretty good teacher

except if you've ever had a good instructor you remember stuff like that in competition. You would do a certain combination and hear pop or up or bring it. I remember hearing SMILE BIGGER!! for parts of certain routines. Those are the things you remember when you're on stage. By the looks of it she's a good teacher.

You know..It was a really good dance. The coreography was really interesting, I liked it. You guys do need better turns and more emotion though. Once you have that down you girls will have 1st place!
