@RangedWoW they are ABSOLUTELY worth the 50$. there aint a better headset in that pricerange....and they fit your ears perfectly. once you start using the headset you'll never go back to normal stereo tv audio....the sound cues you pick up using them are just too good to miss out on (try freeforall in mw2 for the best experience)

@RangedWoW your mistakenly thinking about the wireless turtle beach headsets (lie the x31/41s etc), which do have static problems because they run on the same frequency as most other wireless household appliances (phones, microwaves, wireless adapters etc). However, the x11's are WIRED, and hence do not suffer at all from any of these issues. Trust me, the chat sound quality is comparable to the standard mic you get with the 360. The x11's are perfect for picking up footsteps....i do it everyday
