Good ol band yell #1. I think Dr. Steele wrote that when he was the BD there. He also arranged the Darth Vader theme the U of A plays.

Ha ha, did you know that one of your alums is the band director at UNLV and we totally stole that song and play it at our games? I used to think it was unique to UNLV until I heard U of A play it and asked our director about it. we play it exactly the same except we speed it up about 20 clicks. Very cool song.

His name is Tony LaBounty, he probably graduated from U of A in in the late 60s early 70s??? We call it band yell #1 or just #1. We play you guys in B-Ball this year, you can probably hear us play it on TV. We play it about as much as you all do.

Funny, our band director is an Alum of UNLV, and he's having the Sacramento State Play it. I had no idea it came from UofA
