I have a true Massey 530 Dozer Blade for a 12 lawn tractor for sale if you would like to buy it not sure on the price but if you would like to ask about it just respond back to this post.
To be honest, I will have the correct snowblower attachment finished for next winter. I have it stripped and in primer right now, I am just waiting so I have some time to do a little finish putty work to clean up the rust pitting before I paint it. The snowblower will replace the plow for 99% of all the work. I also have a Troy-Bilt tiller with the proper 36" blade if I wanted to do some light plowing or dirt moving. Thanks for the offer though!
if u could get back to me on the paint u used im using some high performance paint for industrial equipment so its made to last but i wanta know if for the top coat put a tuff gloss or smething bc im still going to use it for wht is was made for i jsut need the paint to last with scratches
@TheJtractor If money is no object, I would be painting them all in DuPont Imron. It's expensive, and you might not be able to re-produce the gray, but a quart to do the red parts will work. It is one of the toughest paints I have ever seen. (And I used to paint cars for a living!)
Nice...I am getting a real watching all these MF vids here. I have a MF12 my dad bought about 15 years ago before he passed, I've had it about 10. It's always been hard to start and never charged. It needed lot of work. Last time I shut it off is where it sat for 6 yrs. Until Now! I was gonna scrap it, then realized how well these old MF's were built. Now its get'n all re-done and I'll post here also. Its a MF12 with Hydra Static & Front Blade. Good vids & info. THANX I enjoyed them.
@DeerParkAuto Whew! Close call on that one! I am glad you are keeping it and it should make a great tractor for you. The 12 hydro is a great machine, I am sure you will love it. I am going to subscribe to your channel so I can keep an eye out for the videos. Make sure to do a walk around before you do anything to it.
hey how did you get the mower lifting handle to lift the plow because i have the same lawn tractor and i can't figure out how to use the handle to lift the blade, thanks.
It was really easy to be honest. I attached a chain to the pipe right under where the lift bracket is under the tractor. By using chain, I am not running the chance of bending any brackets. On my set up, I used a small shackle that fit through the chain and this just pins onto the bracket. On mine, I did turn a sleeve on my lathe and welded it through the pipe to bolt the chain on with. You could go as simple as a muffler clamp, and a bolt at the top to attach the chain.
is that the way it suppose to attach on the front bumber..i just bought a plow for my mf12 and it appears some parts are missing..wish i knew how the hell that plow attaches to the tractor..got any photos of the bottom of the tractor?
Thanks, I am just now getting into the body itself between the break of snow and grass! I have the mower deck sandblasted and all the parts that go with it. I also have the fender pan and all those parts (lid, steel part of the seat, ect) all sandblasted and in primer. I also have a brand new set of 23" AG's mounted on sandblasted and primed rims. I have a tiny bit left and I will spray the red on these parts (the rear rims will be two-toned with red & silver)
If you mean the one plow blade,,, that is the handle to pivot the angle of the blade. The handle end had the lever to release the locking bar at the plow end, and then you push or pull the blade into the position you want to plow in.
Thank you so much for the nice words! Keep an eye out for new videos soon too! I have cut the front rims down and made them narrow to run some narrow tri-ribs and just picked up a spare set of rims to mount a set of AG's I just bought. It will look quite different with the tri-ribs and AG's on it.
Really nice job

Great looking MF, love the snow plow . I have a MF 12 and just love the hydrostatic Trans.
Just wish that the rear drivers were locked,
and wish my MF looked as good as yours !!
Thanks for the video.
