  • I listen to this when I play Space Marine

  • Darn shame they cant restore the emperor back to his prime. If that would happen then the tyranids would probably implode.

  • @Zach20771 or strike in full force..

  • @MaxNght Agree!

  • this song is for the ultimate pokemon legendary battle during the apocolypse in 2012!!!!

  • @MrStarwars11 what?????

  • This is incredible for 1998!

  • Lyrics go like this:

    Agitatis Ultramarini! (Rise, Ultramarines!)

    Dominitis Ultramarini! (Conquer, Ultramarines!)

Non praestatis Ultramarini! (Do not yield, Ultrmarines!)

    Nobilitis Ultramarini! (Be noble, Ultramarines!)

Chaos vobis apportatis! Chaos Innumeratis! (Chaos is approaching you! Chaos innumerable! )

Chorus is horribly garbled, errorneously conjugated, strangely accented, and mispronounced (like the word "agitatis" above). On the other hand, it's Chaos...

  • @WereBoar jajajajajajjajaja.good comment , man. thanks for the lyrics review...maybe its not that bad conjugated , just its ¨high gothic¨ :-). greets.

  • @WereBoar Kudos for the translation. Could you explain more about the erroneous conjugating? As in, is this embarassingly bad latin (to quote somewhere)?

  • @WereBoar wow i wish I had known these lyrics when I was a 14 year old kid playing the game. It would have been so epic too when you are getting swarmed by chaos marines hahaha

  • Keep in mind that most of the latin-like stuff used in 40k is "faux latin", words that sound latin but aren't really true Latin (because it's "High Gothic" after all)

Ultramarines were always my favorite Space Marine; brave and noble, not stuck up idiots like the Imperial Fists, bloodthirsty Norsemen like the Space Wolves, religious zealots like the Black Templars, vampires like the Blood Angels or mysterious and ominous like the Dark Angels. Just honorable like the Roman Centurions.

  • @wayne62682 call the imperial fist stuck up 1 more time the rest are true imperial fist are just proud of what they do and they think they should get something out of it

  • @wayne62682 Ultramarines were alright.... until Ward fucked them over and turned them into the Marty Stus of the setting. They are practically unflawed now... which makes for boring characters. When McNeil tried turn things down in his novel Chapers's Due Ward attempted to render it non-canon with a small blurb in a totally unrelated Codex (Blood Angels).

  • @wayne62682 well, just say ¨honorable¨ but dont compare them to romans...they weren´t honorable at all. A clue to this you have in the world we nowdays: we are direct descendants from their ¨legacy¨.

  • @UlysseXXI they were honorable in thier own facist way

  • @Ultimaetus amen

  • @Ultimaetus try to learn what is fascist and what is feudal, heretic

  • "DIE BEFORE ME, CHAOS TRAITOR!"

  • May our enemies hear our battlecries and TREMBLE with fear as we rock the world through our devastating MIGHT and our raw thirst for BLOODSHED!

All glory to the Power of WE! The Ultramarines!

    Hail from the Frozen North!

  • I've found it!!!!! The lyrics!

    Agitatis Ultramarini!

    Dominitis Ultramarini!

    Non praestatis Ultramarini!

    Nobilitis Ultramarini!

...Now if I can only find out what they mean. >.>

  • Harass them, Ultramarines!

    Destroy them, Ultramarines!

    Do not falter, Ultramarines!

    You are noble, Ultramarines!

  • YES!!!! 8D

    Thank you! C:

  • @frustratedsigh it is you are (plural form, so you all) agitated, ultramarines,

dominitis doesn't seem to be an actual latin verb... because i only found the passive form of to conquer as dominari..

so my best guess would be you are dominant, ultramarines,

then, you are not superior, ultramarines (i guess as if talking to the enemy)

    you are noble, ultramarines.

this is btw a close as possible latin translation from a ap latin student. i'm pretty sure this is made up latin.

  • @mangodealer

    It's not latin - it's high gothic! ;-)

  • @FragLimiT77 its nothing at all not a lanuge its marcreg`s toung not latin not high gothic its made up you can tell by the tone the speace and how fast they can sing it

  • @UnholyTancred Yes brother!

  • can someone write down all the lyrics for me please? :D (whatever language its in now to English)

    thankyou.

  • I´ve searched on the Internet and so far this is what i´ve come up with

The first two lines they repeat over and over again is:

    Agitatis Ultramarini,

    Dominitis Ultramarini.

Meaning Rise to action Ultramarines! Dominate them Ultramarines!

The lines in between might sound something like

    Shim tomane ate sim

    Kima sim arate sim

But he has no idea what that means though the lyrics was something he picked up listening to the song.

So he may have heard wrong.

  • thankyou

  • @Erikjust The voices between chorus sing:

    Chaos Innumeratis, Chaos vobis apportatis.

Hope that helps. I'm not sure about the translation.

  • @beevers93

    Agiatis Ultramarini

    Dominitis Ultramarini

    Non Preatis Ultramarini

    Nobilitis Ultramarini

  • Keep in mind the idea of the main tyranid fleet is simply speculation, nothing more or less.

If the main fleet idea is real, just drive them into the Orks or Eye of Terror or something. Problem solved, next queston?

  • @McLovin2169 if they finish off the orks or enter the eye of terror and end up becoming like chaos they would still kill next answer

  • Think about the Ghorola swarm- a splinter fleet sent into Ork territory that crashed into a minefield on the way there. Only about a fifth of the bioships were unharmed, and even they STILL managed to cleanse the star system of life.

  • BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

  • Its quite obvious the Tyranids will win adventurlly, considering they come from a hole in space and keep coming, they will devour everything, unless the Deamons can play them at their own game, lets just say, Humanity is screwed either way.

  • Negative. Leman Russ will return. For the wolf-time.

Look at the 13th Company: Survived 10,000 years in the Eye of Terror with no reinforcements.

Tyranids ain't got shit on the Space Wolves.

  • :D I've been saying that for ages! I love the Space Wolves, and Leman Russ, explain moar!!

  • How many Space Wolves are there? A few thousand, tops. The Tyranids have an uncountable number of troops and will always come out with more biomass if they take a planet, no matter the losses they take.

The Space Wolves are great soldiers but that means nothing when your enemies outnumber the stars.

  • I will quote myself:

Look at the 13th Company: Survived 10,000 years in the Eye of Terror with no reinforcements.

    Ten thousand years. No reinforcements.

Eye of terror, the heart of chaos.

Tyranids ain't got no shit, none, nothin', on the Space Wolves.

  • How many places can the Space Wolves be at once? Once the real Hive Fleets arrive the Wolves (and the rest of the Galaxy) will be outnumbered, overstretched and decimated by the Nids. They might successfully defend one planet but lose 5 more because they can't protect them all. It's simply a mathematical issue.

You'd see a similar result once more Necrons wake up or if Chaos Undivided manages to break through Cadia. Elite soldiers are do not make up for massive numerical advantages.

  • My response was really suppose to be tongue-in-cheek.

But there are countless times in non-fictional and fictional history were elite soldiers and/or superior tactics were no match for "massive numerical advantages".

The world is slant for chaos; the more death, destruction, lust, envy, etc. that occurs the stronger chaos will become.

Daemons are immortal and tireless. The races of order have nothing more than determination, spirit and technology.

  • As Desuhue said above, the Space Wolves are masters of surviving and trolling their enemies indefinitely. In the context of a full scale invasion by the Nids / Necrons, my guess is that the "good" races - Imperium, Tau, Eldar - would join forces out of necessity.

The Guard has an endless number of troops yet even they get beaten back once in a while.

It's simply a matter of tactics. It depends who manages to apply the "divide et impera" first.

  • adeptus astartes

  • Hail to the Space marines baby!

  • chaos chaos chaos kill the retshed space marins sumen the demons

  • Epic

  • This is so AWESOME!! For the glory of The Emperor!

  • I wish I knew what the lyrics were to this. :D

  • i think they are just vocalizations. or its in latin .

  • My money's on it's in High Gothic.

  • I think the main cadence is:

    "Agitatis Ultramarini

    Dominitis Ultramarini"

    continuously

  • Rise to action Ultramarines!

    Dominate them Ultramarines!

    I think....

  • HAIL THE EMPEROR!

LONG LIVE THE IMPERIUM OF MAN!

    *chants along*

  • the emperor will fall in to darknes of chaos the emperium will fall the end is near hail the demon prins and the chaos lords deth to the empier

  • The living weapons of humanity!

  • This is awesome!

  • omg this song makes me want to march into battle! LONG LIVE THE IMPERIUM!
