Turn your graphics to very high, I run the game as smooth as hell, with everything on very high, and I've only got 1gb RAM, but a new Radeon 4870. Runs like a charm, great for throwing north koreans into flaming buildings, but why cant you mess with the bodies? thats stupid, like they turn to stone when you kill them, they dont even bleed, Farcry was sick.

Yea it did a bit, but I recently bought 4 gigs of RAM, and Im pissed off that its not plain as day, in your face knowledge that 32bit OS'es cant go higher that 3.2!! Regardless, the game runs so much smoother now, with everything on high, only trivial amounts of lag. The worst lag, was when you follow our old geezer psycho into the aircraft carrier, and the admiral is explaining the situation, sometimes it pauses for like 20 seconds LOL!

Oh and this guy is in the editor with a low-resolution and LLAAAAAGGGGGGG. I actually recommend you download the demo for yourself and try it (if you have an awesome pc) You WILL find (if you put graphics on high res and very high) then this game is the best looking game ever created.

I kno Very High because thats what i play Crysis in at 1680X1050. This my friends is not it. This, even in youtube quality, you can clearly see NO POST PROCESSING WHAT SO EVER when he looks up at the sun. No "God Rays" or "DX10 Light Shafts" through the tree leaves. No HDR or ambient lighting from the sun is relevant in this video. Who are you trying to fool?

i did a bit of research recently and found that the ATI Radeon 512mb 3870 is better than the 8800gt. It has 2.25ghz clock speed and 3 times the stream processors, and both about £150

wow, dude, ur a noob, 8800gt beats 3870, trust me, look at benchmarks. 3dmark06 3870 = 11200 8800gt = 12300. 8800gt may have lower clocked speed, but it utilizes its memory better. the only games 3870 does better in is the orange box/some source engine games because they were designed to run on radeon. if ur gonna look stuff up to try sound smart, at least look at benchmarks...

Shit i found a PC with 3 nvidia 8800 Ultra with 4gigs of ram and all the works maxed out it was a used alienware. Everyone at the pawnshop said it was crap and i bought it for like 100 dollers. They must have assumed it was really old. it just had a bad paintjob was all. I took it home and i was right it was a 10,000 doller PC for 100 dollers! 8800Ultra Tri-SLI pulls a measely 39,7FPS... so I don't see how 8800GT SLI would do 40-60

3 Ultras on SLI get really bad performance in Crysis because the game isn't optimized for them, well that's what I heard.. So it's better to stick to two GTs, on very high at 1280x1024 with DX10 you should get around 30-40 FPS, considering you have a good processor and 2 or 3GBs of RAM.

you refer to the old 640MB GTS? the new one(65nm,512mb,G92) is parked just above the GT with a nice big cooler on it. It is the same as the GT just with 128 streamers, high clocks, and a big cooler. I went with my G92 8800GTS for the cooling
