I think throwing a Silverback in this map is a really bad idea, I really dont like it. People just stay in the middle and never go anywere els. And its really unfair when someone actually do get there hands on it.

@galax73 Well use some tactics and if everyone is always in the middle go collect some grenades and other explosives and as soon as they get in the Silverback lob some shit that goes boom at them and problemo solvered :)

Also, for anybody complaining about the DLC being free... Realize that you were never promised map packs only anyways so if you bought the Season Pass for MULTIPLAYER ONLY then you should have use your noodle. They said it would give access to the upcoming DLC. For all we know, the last 2 packs will be character packs (I doubt it, but just think about it that way). We get our DLC in the forms of Campaign, characters, skins, etc. not only maps. We just got exclusive skins this time around.

It's not overpowered. Throw a smoke and the person automatically climbs out, then just shoot him down as he'll be stunned for a few seconds. Plus, once the Silverback is destroyed, you can't use it again for that round. It will definitely be an advantage to the team who can actually wait the time for it to activate, but I'm sure it will have ways around it. Let the damn thing come out for public multiplayer and then we can see how it is.

On November 24th, Epic Games will release a free downloadable content pack for Gears of War 3. The “Versus Booster Map Pack” adds two more maps for online play. The new maps include “Bullet Marsh” and “Clocktower”, two old favorites from the first Gears of War. The other three are the new maps from the “Horde Command Pack: Azura, Rustlung, and Blood Drive. All maps will be available on public matchmaking via dedicated servers.

Why don't people read more gaming news. -_- The maps in the 1st set of dlc will be free on Nov 24th for everyone, and will include two more maps from GoW1. The only thing you get in this dlc is the Horde upgrades and some character skins.. and the three maps before the free DLC is released.

these maps are 100 percent being used as ranked maps after thanksgiving with the new free DLC, however i dont believe for a minute they will leave the silverback in as a useable weapon.

For one epic is still considering if they even want to use these maps for multiplayer. These maps are not playable online as a player match or ranked match, it is strictly horde. You guys should really watch the epic live streams before you get pissed.
