  • We have it in our Company - it'a amazing !

  • Really not very professional to have advertisements at the start of the Presonus vids. Doesn't make sense....otherwise informative.

  • omg that tapping the tempo for the daw is genius...

  • Your Presonus Tutorials are very informative. Thanks a lot. Ariel Pasco

    Mixxman Studio

  • Hope he's paying Ted for the song use!

  • I am really thinkng about getting this mixer, but I use Pro Tools 8, Abelton, Cusbase and Sonar. The only thing that's holding me back is Pro Tools :( meaning I use the Project Mix for Pro Tools, and I wanted to move up from the Project Mix, but I will still have to keep the Project Mix as a interface for Pro Tools... Bummer

  • Sorry Rick, when I write Studio One, what I meant to say is Studio Live.

  • Rick, I am very much interested in the Atudio one mixer. You have ALWAYS helped me imnumeral times previously, now I have another question for you. In one of the rooms in my studios I am looking to replace an old MX 9000, I am thinking about this mixer but I have a question, I know you stated how this works well with ANY ASIO based DAW. Then in the ame beath you mntioned, "Firewire". My question, I am using Pro Tools 8 for my software. Does this mixer and Pro Tools get along? Do they play?

  • Unfortunately ProTools only works with their own hardware. However, a lot of ProTools guys use the StudioLive and Capture to track with and then mix and edit in ProTools. The exporting functions are really awesome in Capture.

  • Thanks Rick, I'll have to toss it about.

  • the things that can be done ! this is too sweet and simple for the average home studio not to have... just think of all the damn gear you normally gotta buy... i think we can overlook the motorized faders, it's ok, we'll get over it...

  • Printing/posting effects back to the Capture Software and Save?..Will this work with Cubase or lOgic the same way?..It should...

  • This "DAW" whose name you fail to mention.. Would this happen to be Studio One???

I think i see the presonus logo on each of the channel strips... i could be wrong.

i know its definately not logic.. coz you actually have a MONO output from the DAW.. haha

  • Yea i know who presonus is... im a small time customer myself.. (and hopefully a soon-to-be StudioLive onwer)

Yea i just thought that they would make a big deal of them actually using Studio One.

  • The channel has videos of the software, Studio One, they are probably using this studio time to use the program in practical environment to fine tune.

  • Yes, it's StudioOne. I did this video about a week before we announced it at Musik Messe so I couldn't actually say what it was. We'll be doing a lot more videos showing StudioOne before it ships this summer.

  • Sweet. Thanks Rick for clearing that up. Looking forward to more videos of StudioOne. I might not have to buy a mac after all. :) Great thanks to Presonus from New Zealand!

  • X2 Mate! H town reprazent lol!

  • dude, I think it is Studio One. It may or may not be. You're definitely right about the presonus logo, though.
