i appreciate the responses I have got for the Ad. Main reason we took interest towards the car was primarily cause of what it would do to Indian auto indstry. In India after buying a house, owning a car is the next most prestigious thing. And i am not talking about wealthy corporates here but about the simple ever growing Indian middle class. As mentioned this ad has nothing to do with anything official with TATA. It was done out of pure interest keeping in mind who and how TATA might target.

no airbags, no antilock brakes, rear suspension technology decades old, no support beam for crash, engine worse than 1986 Yugo 650cc engine, dashboard that features little more than a speedometer, fuel gauge, and oil light, lack basics such as reclining seats, a radio, and power steering, basic shock absorbers up front.

The things u mentioned u need in a car are worth more then this car....Grow up. This is most affordable car available today. If u talk about safety then explain, is there any safety in a scooter this car cost u a little bit more then a Hero Honda bike.
