actually hurricanes are needed in order to release the heat tramped in the planet by greenhouse gases.. If it wasnt for hurricanes the planet would be a much much more dangerous place "temperature" wise.

what's really crazy is that they/re potentially dangerous and could be strong enough to affect weather in the Hawaiian Islands by the end of this week. That's kind of scary. Living on small island in the middle of a big ocean during a hurricane is no picnic.
