I think David Martin Anderson does a great job in his new book, 'The Last Good Horse,' describing horse round-ups in the 1930s and the herd hierarchy. There's also an author interview on the subject on You Tube. Do a search under the author's name to find it. Great stuff. Great read!
I recognise this music, it was in the 1994 movie of "Black Beauty" (the one with Sean Bean). It was in the scene where Beauty is showing off for Ginger lol

Yes it was, the track is called "Jump for Joy" and is on the very rare Danny Elfman soundtrack CD....
