should have used a Craftsman log splitter. they make one, but Honda doesn't make a drill. Some people have too much time on their hands. Me? I'm staying up late, playing hookey.

i would have taken it back to sears and seen what they would do for a new one just say its broke they give a life time warrenty on most of their tools but now ? dont think thatll happen ?

lol, take a block of wood or metal, and put it at the end of the log splitter. that way you can put the drill next to the wood and crush or even cut it in half with the splitter. oh, and btw, if you didn't completely destroy the motor you should have kept it as a starter motor. i'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with figuring something out. great video, 5 stars. make a series.

now crush the batteries! :) only kidding, unless you wear eye protection and step back far from it! lol lol, also i was more concerned about your fingers getting pinched than debris hitting your eyes, things happen fast, and you could have easily pinched a finger between the drill and the splitter, that would have sucked, not to call the safety police, just a word of caution, there is massive amount of force there, and a finger is nothing to that machine, so stay safe Daniel and have fun!

my wood shop teacher from highschool had a good saying he put on a wood sign in his classroom, it said "GOD forgives, Machines don't " ain't that the truth ( also i am Catholic so i went to the local Catholic school board (much like all local Christians), hence we could use the term GOD unlike public schools, but both are government funded in London Ontario, unlike Catholic (christian) private schools in the U.S. which require you to pay to attend, another fast fact!
