@melodypaige2009 Agreed. A real actor doesn't act really good. He doesn't act at all. He *becomes* the character. Leo is a real actor. So is Gary Oldman. So was Heath Ledger. Helena Bonham-Carter is awesome too. But some of the most "successful" actors out there aren't all that good. They're just good at delivering lines. But they wind up doing the same character in every movie, and you don't see any character. You just see Tom Hanks, Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts.

Leo is such a good actor, he puts 29939833% of himself into every role he does. Lorraine Bracco is AMAZING here too. There's so much sadness on Jim's (Leo) end but just imagine being a mother put into that position..the heartbreak you must feel unable to do anything to help your son. It's terrible.
