The pilot's efforts to get the plane back were perhaps what saved everyone else. He did his best and lost his own life in the process. It's a wonder that anyone survived this crash. Things can go wrong very quickly..............RIP to the pilot.

@4795623 I was a former co-worker of Luc's(captain) and considered him a friend. He was an amazing guy and a great family man. He sadly has left behind a wife and 15 month old baby. How about you show some respect bigot.
I live in Richmond, like 5-8 minuites drive away (near a firestation) and was on my way home at 4:15/4:20 ish and saw firetruck after firetruck after police car racing towards the airport. I panicked and rushed home to watch the news and saw that a plane had crased. It was really quite scary. In the evening, they wouldnt let me in to the hospital to see my grandma, and then i panicked some more.
Omg my dad works like, 50 secs away from the crash sight. Crazy stuff. Good thing that not a lot of people got hurt. I hope the people who were injured are okay.
My cousin Kelly was in that palne,,, survived and out of surgery talking to family. Amazing guy with a huge heart and Im happy he will be able to still do the JUST GIVER 4PD bike ride, raising awareness for those affected by Parkinson’s while encouraging physical activity and involvement for those affected by PD.
Got caught in the traffic re-routed to the Oak Street bridge. It took forever to get home. Saw the ambulances flying up and down every available road. I hope everyone pulls through.
It's nice to see that at least YouTube allows people to say the word 'shit', even though the Canadian Radio and Television Commission still forbids it from being said on radio and TV.
