the rulers in this game are stupid one time the spanish said that we can be in peace for 6 turns for 2025 of you 2030 gold peices and then i nuked them

I discovered an interesting strat while on deity (which is still kicking my ass), I use a spy ring to break up a city's initial spy ops defence, but I keep a grouping of single spy's in close vincinity, and before the city can generate its' next spy defence I rush the city with successive spy infiltrations, (at this point their defences are open and spy rings are a waste) if the city in question is near an economic victory, you can amass crazy amounts of gold this way crippling the civ.
