I have one question, if somebody can help me.

The SIMMONS SDS 8 machine have a button in each channel (in the bottom) call SELECT

What is the function of this button, and what is the meaning of the leds FAC and VAR??

FAC means factory presest sound, VAR means Variable/Variation, as in whatever sound is dialed in with the knobs at the moment on that channel.

i just bought a sds8 with all the stands and pads:D Ofcoarse non of the 5 drums channels worked at first, but after tweaking the knobs for like an hour i got three of them working:P It hadnt been used in like 7 years or so..! awyway, how did u trigger the sds8 from the 808? and btw is that sds8 of yours all stock? it sounds wiked!
