do you have any suggestions on what to do when audio freezes during recording? I just have ProTools SE for now, and I ve made a few recordings with some success,but sometimes when I try to to a "punch in" and it comes to the punch in point, the audio freezes or makes an awful screeching sound. Would I better off to just dedicate a computer for recording only ? Thanks

I love that vocal line at 1:30 or so where it goes into the next section with a Major 7th, then to the octave, and it keeps climbing.

There are a lot of nice effects we can use in studio but how to get this sound in live performance on stage. Problem is that many people don't think this way ;-)

I do this all the time! awesome for transitions.... Another great thing is to take a copy of the cymbal, pitch it up a little bit, and make one panned left and one right to make a wide stereo epic transition!

I still can't shake that there's something dodgy with the vocals, they just sound wierd :/ almost synthesised at times

I hear this "effect" on the vocals all over You Tube, I think it has to do with the compression codec that they use.....

@ScottySniper93 that's the tuning you are hearing, all of the vocals on these songs are tuned very heavily
