In my perspective, the way of Indonesian Party to promotes or campaigning their vision and mission is not educational to our citizens. as we can see in this video, the Parties used "Dangdut" music concert as their way to persuade citizens to select their representatives is way way off the goal of democracy, it is just to persuade uneducated people to easily select that party. not to educate Indonesian people to the real democracy.

the fact that some idiotic law passed in tangerang means that it passed through a democratic process. the meaning of democracy is its ability to change. we're seeing that the success and popularity of local sharia laws are abating. it was a fluke. and yes, i do think that there are more powerful women in position in indonesia than in many other countries. women have equal access to the things men do. in general women do have equal rights. i'm sure those anti-women laws will be amended.
