  • one of the greatest performances of my favourite springsteen song, we need a darkness tour live album!

  • Keep it angry Bruce!

  • This is probably the last time Bruce truly killed on the guitar. He's the sloppiest successful guitar player of all time.

  • That's why they call him THE BOSS !

  • i could listed to the begining of the song for hours...that little intro with the piano

  • @gorgiegay666 NO HE WAS NOT BETTER THEN HENDRIX! He was really great though.

  • @abousloppy Indeed, he's much much better than Hendrix =)

  • 32 frickin yrs ago. 1978 i just started my senior yr in high school. This man was played at every kegger and pot party i was at. 32 FRICKIN YRS AGO! Damn i wanna go back life was so fun in the summer of 78. Had this beautiful chick that lived on the bay and we water skied all summer long. 32 Frickin yrs and the man still plays with the passion he had then. Rock God Thank you Mr. Bruce. Thank you. You will alway be a part of my youth forever! Thank you

  • Music reached its zenith when Springsteen toured the United States in '78 for the Darkness Tour.

  • No one is commenting, this is the best video on YouTube with the best sound of all the versions available here great post!

  • @boners2nite Maybe everyone's too blown away to say anything; just standing there with our jaws on the floor. THE quintessential song on THE quintessential tour. Bruce's '78 tour took no prisoners. He wrote and released Darkness, not looking for fame or fortune, but greatness. He then set out on this tour to Prove It (All Night).

  • Yep, that's probably why! cheers.
