@chichaakachona Not all christians do as you do. Some of them don't give their children the medical treatment they need. Some of them beat their kids. Some of them fight against scientist that are looking for cures and they do all of this because of what they read in the bible.
why is spankin ur child wrong ur grandfather got spanked and most likeley ur father . its a form of correction and when u spank ur kids u should not hit the face or cause brusing. and u should not beat them for every little thing. spankin is the last resort , but it is not child abuse. its just that people dont know how to controll there kids anymore. we let our children tell us wat to do. if ur child is watching porn would u not be angry. i would give him a few chances then i would spank him

However the situation does not change simply because of their parents gender and sexuality.
Think of the beating of the rod as spanking. This is not child abuse, but it is used as a deterrent and punish a child so that they can learn correction. Also, the verse about killing children is not even about children, and nowhere does it say children in that verse; in the context of the times, this was to hold the importance of family in the utmost respect and to bring children up in a godly upbringing.
