I'm wondering if better hardware = greater fps? a 2.8GHz CPU + 8800 doesn't mean as much as it use to. I have the 1090T AMD Hex Core and a GTX 280, wish I wasn't a wuss and would actually attempt to run this.

Simply by emulating a virtual desktop of the size of the application, and probably letting the application to grab the mouse.

No DaweyYT, it just was the installation, that takes a lot of time, and close it one and another time thinking it was crashed. I play one day, but now, when I start, any splash screen appears, and game don't works. Thank you for your help.

I use Linux because I think it's better for all the stuff I use my computer for, except games. This includes developing, open-source movie editing, everyday desktop work and all types of geek stuffs.

The goal with my channel is to show how Linux performs with Windows games. I think that many people sits on the edge just because of they don't know how Linux plays Windows games.

Why would I use Windows when Linux is fast, secure and free (both as in beer and in speech)?

Hi, I got a problem, and is the next: when I mount the image at wine for installing Mirror's Edge, it runs, bun when the progress bar of installation is only at 9% (more or less), it freezes, always at the same point. Can you help me, please? I would be very glad, thank you.

I had that problem too. The latest version of Wine should fix it. Now if only I could get it to run... :)
