@trippyhatesu EXACTLY!!!! Shoot to STOP. When shooting to STOP, make the shot COUNT. Center-of-Mass shots are what are needed ALWAYS (Center-of-Mass means chest (heart, lungs, other vitals).) Shooting to wound only invites lawsuits, unless you can make a strong enough case that you suck at shooting.
Always go above the waist, unless your using a shotgun and don't necessarily want to kill but rather send a stern message. This guy looks like he needed one too to be honest.

@MRocker76 At that range (I'm inferring point blank based on context), shooting him in the legs with a shotgun would instantly immobilize him.
If she had shot him center mass and killed him, she would most likely be tried for murder (which is still wrong).
