Yes the Ione branch is still in active useage twice a week on tuesday and wensday in the morning hours around 10:00 AM UPRR sends two GP's up to MP. 23.5 and return to Galt. The line has been severd at MP 24.0 amd the line from there to Ione at MP 27.1 is nolonger active rail.

I just checked Pentex's website and they're having a huge sale because they're trying to get rid of all their VHS titles (this is one of them). Every VHS title is only $9.95 so this is a great opportunity to get some Pentrex videos if you don't mind that they're VHSs.
